The wall is supposed to be 1500 when completed

That or the tattered remains of some chain link dense

Right now it’s 170 miles with 760 in construction. By the time it’s all done, there won’t be any holes - apart from natural barriers.

If you want a “hole” you need to walk dozens of miles.

And then they’re just all funneling in through dull multiple areas

And if you try to utterly block the boarder? Then you’re making the ACTUAL ISSUE worse

Dude if the wall stops 90% of migrants with a trade off - cartels get money

So be it.

And the wall would also stop cartel operations but were ignoring that for sake of argument (it has).

Then that 90% drops to 20-10% in a few months

It hasn’t in areas with old fencing

After it turns out everyone will have to pay

Most migrants can’t afford that.

They will alright

May take them months longer to cross

But they will work for the money

They are determined to get a better life

Every one has a plan until they’re punched in the face.

Most people now don’t try crossing, the ones who do try and climb fall back down and break their bones

In a lot of cases die.

Then they hear about drug cartels being payed to fly you in, smuggle you via tunnel, or ship

And so they go to a nearby town and gather money

These things fail now pretty much most of the time.

Drug cartels are rarely stopped

Most of the time smuggling operations are stopped with the wall.

A lot of the time they’re caught at the wall so they leave their clients there on the wall.
