Who cares
@fuck12moredeadcops Ur chechnyan?
@fuck12moredeadcops You know what the Euthyphro dilemma is right?
Fam
Only Arsenal fans say fam
Your just stating theories out of the philosophy of Logic.
ewwww
>you do not need to trust the agent for the agent to be existent
I'm not talking about that. I'm talking about how skeptical theism would entail one to not be able to trust God, which puts the theist in a dilemma since God may possibly lie, and therefore wouldn't be the God of classical theism
God deceives in Abrahamic mythology though
P1) If God is necessarily morally perfect, then there is no possible world in which He actualizes E.
P2) If God is omnipotent, He has the power to actualize E.
P3) If God has the power to actualize E, then there is a possible world
in which God actualizes E.
He betrays the trust of the pious on numerous occasions to test them, why could God not lie to me?
Then clearly the Abrahamic God cannot be classed as God.
Then that means evil would not exist.
Because he lies?
Indeed
Why is that impossible for a God to do?
Because it goes against the nature of God.
Also thats what you posted from edward fraeser not thomas aquinas.
Why would the nature of God be one where he never deceives
Literally why would that be a necessary quality of a supreme being
@fuck12moredeadcops To fit moral perfection, which is key in classical theism.
Because there is no greater than God
You are over-concluded on edwards refined proofs of aquinas lol.
Why do you think theists argue for moral perfection lol.
Because its not!
King shutup
I'm talking to someone else.
You conceded ages ago.
You have nothing valuable to say.
Niv=ce to see you ran
Nah, it's just that you're retarded and can't defend your faith properly.
Oh am i?
Yeah.
Retard.
This is by the standard of human moral perfection, Allah doesn’t have a similar moral code. He could lie, steal, and cheat, and it would still be moral actions definitionally. He creates morality and is from where morality is understood. We can not fathom why God might lie unless he reveals why he is lying, and we cannot fully know Gods plan, you need only put faith in the fact that it is a good plan.
Are you expressing a reflection of yourself though?
Then that morality is arbitrary on God, meaning morals would be subjective.
You've bitten the second horn of the Euthyphro dilemma.
I think God is fully capable of lying and myth has many examples of him lying intentionally
