Using your scientific definition of life, what if the baby is 7 months along before the mother is able to have an abortion. It's alive by your definition, therefore is it ok to kill it?
technically it isn't killing to us
no
But by your scientific definition it would be
not that late
but that makes no sense
when she knows she is pregnant
just abort
it takes a toll physically and mentally
late term abortions are wrong
I'm just asking a hypothetical to challenge your standpoint, that's all
and trying to recover after being raped while being pregnant is nono
If a woman is raped, and she, for whatever reason, is not able to seek an abortion before your definition of life begins, is it killing to abort the baby? @ashnaa
why would she not be able to seek abortion
This is why I dislike speaking in outliers, because they just get further and further off the rails and never promote the discussion
Maybe a woman is held captive, raped, and rescued after that point?
she was still raped
There was a lady here in ohio who was held captive for 13 years and gave birth numerous times during it, so it does happen
So it's then ok to kill this baby that you yourself have deemed scientifically alive?
wait what
alive then no
before alive then yea
Well yea, I'm just trying to logically challenge your viewpoint of using the mother's psyschological state as a deciding factor
oh ok
I'm just using a hypothetical of, for whatever circumstances, the mother who is raped (let's say she was held captive) is rescued, and it is discovered she has been pregnant long enough for the baby to be considered scientifically alive. Would it be ok for an abortion?
and then you said no, so i'd ask why?
ohh
because then it actually would be murder
but i mean it's a blurry line for me
yea its ok
Yea, like I said, that's why I strongly dislike these incredible outliers
they show where you draw the line tho
so i think they're important
imo they should abort cuz it has a bigger impact on the lady than the child born
wdym
who's "they"
lke
the lady
