I see, well you could say that Canada and Mexico have one thing in common, is that we both have De Jure claims parts of your territory, and by extension your whole nation, which we of course don't push in the form of treaties. Mainly New England and Louisianna, whereas Mexico has De Jure claims on the West, mainly New Mexico or what was once a part of their self proclaimed Empire. So truly, I see the term likely comes from a basis of resentment that you settled the land after us. Most intriguing!
