besides I think taxation existed since the medievil ages actually, i might need correction though, but I am pretty sure about that. I really dont mind taxation if it serves me as it should, but i think my position has been made rather clear, I like freedom of choice, I dont think anyone would disagree with this unless they are criminals

@Jays I'm by no means defending taxes in this place. The left leaning governments are just using all our tax money to give the lazy man free gibs. But say, 50 years ago our taxes were put into very good use.

hmmm i dunno, werent over 50% of our taxes going to the homelands, making them dependent on us by giving them free stuff? Or was that only just towards the end?

Agreed, however, communities would naturally grow if left to their own devices. If a road is needed, someone would start a business and build the road, growth would happen. A government isn’t a prerequisite for there to be infrastructure, policing and so on.

They only issue with that whole thing, was the corrupt chiefs lining their pockets.

it's immoral to give people stuff they dont work for, might as well justify the same today if you want to remain consistent. Sure services were delivered, but I think it was both a waste and immoral of us to make the neighboring homelands dependent on us tax payers.
