Sometimes

2018-11-26 19:33:46 UTC

It really depends on the people you hang around lol.

2018-11-26 19:35:51 UTC

I understand the reasoning behind the skin tone desire\classification in Asian cultures, I just can't understand why white people at least..American white people still think it's attractive to have grody looking tan, damaged skin.. Just..ew.. @BraaiBroodjie

2018-11-26 19:35:57 UTC

I dont see how thats strange really, different ideals and values, from different regions and environments... Like you not gonna find a sun burnt oke in the poles either, so I dunno why it's strange to you Broodjie

2018-11-26 19:36:33 UTC

white people have more diversity, skin tones, eye color and hair color

2018-11-26 19:37:24 UTC

I can understand if a white person is naturally tanned..or is mixed with another race, but actively tanning, spray tans, to achieve the tan look...I just find it fucking disgusting these days.

2018-11-26 19:37:54 UTC

I was in the UK recently, the north (yorkshire/manchester) - Saw a lot of fake tans.
I think if people just stick to being natural + healhy, they look good.

2018-11-26 19:37:57 UTC

I actually think the tan derives from the Mediterranean

2018-11-26 19:38:49 UTC

the greeks and romans, must be some desire to conect with the roots of the west or something lol

2018-11-26 19:38:57 UTC

I'm one of the most pale white people on earth bahaha I have an moon-glow instead of a tan. Lol

2018-11-26 19:39:01 UTC

Like in South-Africa you can call a person of colour a Coloured and he won't mind. But try that in America

2018-11-26 19:39:32 UTC

yeah PC culture really has been brewing in the states for a while lol

2018-11-26 19:40:37 UTC

Here in America it was a popular thing to have "sun-kissed" looking skin (people ALWAYS overdo the tan, unfortunately) and they wanted blonde hair, parted a certain way, and blue eyes. Was a common desire in my school anyway..

2018-11-26 19:41:15 UTC

i remember long while back how americans freaked out about defining blacks as black, and coloureds as coloureds lol, was really strange that, i can agree with that

2018-11-26 19:41:17 UTC

sounds like what the furher wanted

2018-11-26 19:41:29 UTC

Indeed lol

2018-11-26 19:41:35 UTC

lol

2018-11-26 19:42:00 UTC

is it okay to even call blacks blacks in America? Do you say African American?

2018-11-26 19:42:33 UTC

Comes down to subversion

2018-11-26 19:42:42 UTC

We used to say African American, but some people are still offended by that because they consider themselves fully American

2018-11-26 19:43:05 UTC

yeah, I'd agree. Why not fully american.

2018-11-26 19:43:44 UTC

I guess it might be just to narrow their race down

2018-11-26 19:43:45 UTC

I just consider people what they look like..Black, White, Brown..

2018-11-26 19:44:14 UTC

See that makes sense, it's the same how i consider myself african, born and bred here too, fed by the food that was grown in this soil... i can relate to black americans regarding that. I am called european but I have no european passport and not even recognized by eurrope as european

2018-11-26 19:44:30 UTC

i consider people as Nice or assholes

2018-11-26 19:44:35 UTC

Black americans are so far removed from Africa... Makes no sense to call them African American

2018-11-26 19:44:44 UTC

@Apollo What do u consider me ;)

2018-11-26 19:44:48 UTC

yeah well colour pretty straight forward

2018-11-26 19:44:52 UTC

i need a link to a torrent for free minecraft

2018-11-26 19:45:11 UTC

@WuldGoGayForLauren don't ask questions you don't want the answer to

2018-11-26 19:45:13 UTC

@spursfan82 It's not exactly to call them african, more just to refer to their race as black

2018-11-26 19:45:26 UTC
2018-11-26 19:47:33 UTC
2018-11-26 19:47:56 UTC

african refers to a geographical location, black refers to a colour.

2018-11-26 19:48:37 UTC

Well they use it to determine race I suppose xP

2018-11-26 19:48:59 UTC

So if you go to the USA and you are white individual born in Africa what are you classified as?

2018-11-26 19:49:03 UTC

Don't tell many black people that here..that they're so removed from Africa that they shouldn't Identify as African-America they'll cry or get angry. Some people are fine with the classification, some black people are not 😛 @spursfan82

2018-11-26 19:49:04 UTC

it's an inaccurate way to determine race thouhj

2018-11-26 19:49:11 UTC

I am thinking like a drunk person without being drunk. i think is just because i aint use to be out of school.

2018-11-26 19:49:28 UTC
