To be fair a range that was going to be hosting a bunch of noguns neophytes shooting MGs for the first time would be wise to want cash on the barrelhead, given the possibility of an accident.

I have an anecdote about this kind of thing but in typing it out i realized how unbelievable it is. Let me just say that the army can do some stupid shit sometimes when they want PR points.

This gun is a crime against armament.

"blocking the Trump administration from allowing the distribution of materials to easily 3-D print guns"

2018-08-01 17:19:16 UTC

wat

2018-08-01 17:20:23 UTC

i was unaware i needed government permission to share things in the first place. I mean, if it needs government permission and they are trying to block it

2018-08-01 17:21:14 UTC

🤔 what materials would those be? 3d printers?

2018-08-01 17:21:25 UTC

literally like cad files

2018-08-01 17:22:47 UTC

yeah, just make the posting to the internet of cad files pertaining to gun creation illegal, that'll make them cease to exist

2018-08-01 17:22:48 UTC

they want to block sharing of literal computer models of guns.

2018-08-01 17:23:01 UTC

just like making CP illegal ma-**oh wait**

2018-08-01 17:23:30 UTC

they attempted to do just that, but a recent court hearing ordered the previous ruling overturned

2018-08-01 17:23:41 UTC

and the state had to pay back some of the legal fees

2018-08-01 17:24:03 UTC

it would be a pretty ridiculous thing to do

2018-08-01 17:24:13 UTC

they tried to block it on some laws pertaining to distributing arms to foreign countries

2018-08-01 17:24:31 UTC

governments gotta protect it business model somehow ya know.

2018-08-01 17:28:27 UTC

don't most countries militaries buy their guns from other countries

2018-08-01 17:29:59 UTC

yelling -----> pushing -----> shooting

2018-08-01 17:30:07 UTC

That escalated very quickly.

2018-08-01 17:32:22 UTC

Over a parking spot.

2018-08-01 17:34:05 UTC

The guy's not going to jail, but will there be any kind of intervention?

2018-08-01 17:41:09 UTC

Imagine.

2018-08-01 17:41:24 UTC

Like in the future with amazing fabrication tech, people can fabricate anything.

2018-08-01 18:12:24 UTC

i'm questioning if the guy should go to jail.

2018-08-01 18:13:19 UTC

everything up until the last second before he pulled the trigger justified it. But in that last second, the attacker was backing away, and the man had space.

2018-08-01 18:13:35 UTC

coupled with the fact he was the original instigator

2018-08-01 18:14:40 UTC

i think the attacker was no longer a threat once the gun was up because he clearly backed off. and with plenty of time for the guy on the ground to realize it. as the dude also was turning away at the time of firing.

2018-08-01 18:15:32 UTC

Yeah, I don't see how he was a threat if he was backing away.

2018-08-01 18:15:45 UTC

I mean what is defiend as a threat is subjective

2018-08-01 18:17:32 UTC

Sounds like this guy routinely harasses people who are parked in handicapped spaces.
