Why.
They are the worst scientists when it comes to "not why, but why not"
But the list goes on, the free bleeding thing was a 4chan op last I heard.
The bread one? Just some crazy feminist decided to write a blog post on it.
What?
I don't know.

"baking bread using vaginal yeast"
does that mean they needed to give themselves a yeast infection first? if so seems like a painful way to bake bread.
That, and it's useless
Vaginal yeast doesn't produce the CO2 needed in nearly enough quantity
And it's, y'know
Illegal
illegal to bake bread?
or did they want to sell it?
It's illegal to feed someone bread made with vaginal yeast
(at least, without their knowing consent)
Because a yeast infection is a disease, and as such, you're legally trying to infect someone with a disease
Just thinking of it..
But someone did write a blog post on it, and even suggested feeding the results to her then husband
Actually, I think California has or is trying to decriminalize that kind of stuff. Knowingly exposing someone to HIV is no longer a felony over there.
If someone goes on a gun rampage, point out how cali deals with people going on HIV infection sprees
its only a misdemeanour
so basically
And no, its still a felony
only a court date
just not as harsh
misdemeanor you mean
@GingaBomber pretty sure it's no longer a felony (in california)
Huh, didnt realise the two were different
Assumed felony = punishable crime
Yeah, it's specifically being lowered to a misdemeanor offense.
Still, id like to know their arguments for this
Like, reducing the stigma of being infected
but at what cost? Exposing innocent people to it?
They said it's to help "treat HIV as a public health issue, instead of treating people living with HIV as criminals."
The keyword here they seem to be ignoring is *knowingly* infecting someone with HIV without telling them you have it.
