Not officially, but many states don't require an ID to vote, at least some of the really blue ones.
And our left has screamed 'racism' at the idea of requiring an ID for one to be able to vote.
I do know that, on the approach to the 2016 elections, the governor of Virginia granted something like 40,000 felons the right to vote.
And that voting base manipulation is being given political purchase in the language used

I personally do not comprehend the simple fact that going to prison for literally anything other than treason or otherwise directly attempting to undermine or violently manipulate the government and/or democratic process removes your right to vote in the US, but that's just me.

There was a time when we would laugh at the idea of people legitimately trying to claim that 'there is no such thing as biological sex', and made a joke of it, only for it to actually happen later on.
