BIG MOTHERFUCKER

how the fuck will this work??
you can't just take the quintessential dark/scifi/fantasy setting and then just turn it "kid friendly".
even if they nuke Slaanesh (which frankly breaks the Eldar) and retcon 90% of the Dark Eldar you still have mountains of gratuitous blood and gore. The goddamn poster boys of the setting, the Space Marines, literally use machine guns that fire self-propelled explosive ammunition, designed to burrow inside the target before exploding them from the inside-out. How the fuck do you make that kid friendly?
And that's not even going into the grayish morality of the setting itself, which would not really be possible to pull off while staying kid friendly, and in my opinion is one of the biggest strengths of the setting.
they are taking a series in which literal space nazis are "the good guys" and it just gets worse from there, and making it a kids show?
apparently.
inb4 Tau are the goodguys
lets, what are the Tau equivalent to again? Space Commies?
"join us peacefully.... or die"
pretty much.
ruled by some guys called "Ethereals" which are likely mindcontrolling the populace.
plus the Tau frequently enact sterilization, conquer and enlave other races, all while maintaining the facade of a """greater good"""
there is not a single "good" faction. which is the point. the only reason the Empire is good is because they are at least human.
i mean, if they want to teach kids that life is all grey and there is no black and white, you can't get much better
lol
>ruled by some guys called "Ethereals" which are likely mindcontrolling the populace.
All but confirmed
I dunno, the Farsight Enclaves seem like pretty fucking solid proof
It's never straight up explicitly stated that yes, they use mind control.
The Tau are supposed to be the utopian faction. In the idea that they accept humans who are willing to work towards the "greater good", and brainwash those who do not. Tau who disobey their plans for "the greater good" are also brainwashed. Even the populace is divided into castes (based on their genetics) and are only allowed to procreate when the elders tell them to.
Also, I was sure the Imperium was a good faction, just happend that the guy responsible is now some skeleton on a throne everyone worships.
Now what you got is some zealots following some bastardization of the message this guy wanted.
The Emperor did some pretty immoral stuff. I couldn't really call him a "good guy", just someone who staunchly believed the ends justified the means. And, unfortunately, he was unable to reach those ends, partly due to his own negligence.
Pretty much, in a world of trillions, the lives of billions become insignificant.
Killing psycers and outlawing all relligion except the state mandated one.
Reason being that only the state mandated one was the only one they were really sure or that it would not summon interdimensional demons by accident.
And that psycers had the capacity to be corrupted into demonic beings if they went out of control.
I'm pretty sure the Imperium during the Emperor's rule was under state-enforced atheism. He specifically DIDN'T want to be worshipped as a god, going as far as to punish his son, Lorgar, for trying to preach that exact thing (which backfired. horribly.).
Ironically, the Imperial Creed (the new religion of the imperium worshipping the corpse-emperor, which was also created by Lorgar, ironically) now technically has it's own daemons (Living Saints). Literally everything that the emperor tried to exorcise from humanity is now back in some form.
like i said, want to teach kids that the world is nothing but grey, perfect universe
It was focused on ideas. Athiesm was enforced like a relligion.
Just happened that his achievements were so great they said fuck this, no human could have done this, he a god.
>"best way to overcome fear is to *learn* about the universe"
>"hatred of weaponry"
what is warhammer anyway?
just hug the necrons
make friends
Necrons are definitely a huggeable race
For anyone with a skeleton kink, that is
I'm sure Flayers would love to feel your body on theirs
Lmao
Any ideas for fitting music? 😂
lol
