I think it's absolutely a valid fear as far as the Conservative side of things goes
that they might actually try to ban ALL forms of abortion.
And I'm not for that, either.
Abortion needs to be a procedure considered solemnly, like surgery or chemo.
I absolutely don't think an organization like Planned Parenthood takes it sufficiently seriously, especially given it's roots.
And the fanaticism surrounding the process is absolutely top-tier disgusting.
Oh, PP getting public money I'm against. I'm not really for anyone getting public money like that without good cause.
Can also agree that if it's surgery, it needs to be treated as such. We've somehow it a point where surgery is treated rather flippantly overall.
im not for paying for another individuals mistakes
I dont mind helping victims of rape however
I don't know where this new blasé attitude toward abortion came from. It's bizarre.
@GingaBomber I'm of the stance, that in the case of rape, it should be paid as part of the punishment.
I dont mind helping the person.
Not exactly the
Payment part? Well, its part of paying damages
But what if the woman decides to keep the child?
And its a false accusation?
If it's a false accusation things get much harder. Part of the issue is that if you just subsidize it, you create an incentive to lie.
From what I've read, bans fail to reduce abortion rates.
In communist Romania, it caused health problens
Yes and that is why you want a 3 party abortion system where you have to talk to a "pro life" faction that wants to save the child.
Than 72h to think about that
and THEN you might (or not) get the Abortion
Id argue to just privatise the whole thing
I dont want to pay tax dollars for this.
Then of course we get the american healthcare, which is also a joke
Yeah you still need a "neutral" instance in that shit so that it doesn't get crazier...
as for abortions: Aren't most aborted childs black?
I don't think so. However, most planned parenthood centres are placed near black areas.
I like the idea of the crisis health centres. They talk to the patients, offers them other methods, before giving the abortion.
Yes, it's about supporting a culture of life. Discouraging the termination of pregnancies and then wanting to be "hands off" from there out isn't a pro-life stance, in my opinion.
I think that if South Africa wants to turn farms over to blacks, they should have to pass a basic test to see if they are compodent, "Why do Americans lover Peanut butter?"
Naa, Blacks are Geniusses, that's why their Countrys work so well...
How many urbanites from anywhere in the world can answer that question?
Also, I have a question, Is it just me or does Tim's viewer base consist of a lot of conservatives? I was just wondering people's take on this, because since he himself is a social liberal I expected more centrists and centre leftists
NO, its sentient people with their own mind and thoughts. That doesn't translate to Conservative.
According to the Political Compasses I'm either a Lefty or Centrist for example.
They are just not the hard far left Communist type...
I don't mean that, I mean most of the people in his yt comment section seem to identify
but except for those, the Viewership is pretty diverse I'd say.
