I'm not gender dysphoric anymore except when I feel threatened by laws that could place me in danger - mens bathrooms or jail cells with guys. Stuff like that. Or ID that doesn't match my obvious appearance and anatomy.

@Malt_Hitman there are countries where homosexuality is illegal and punished with a death sentence, they even lob all other forms of “deviant behavior” into the category that get death.
If you fall in one the deviant categories, just hope your plane doesn’t have to do a controlled emergency landing. This will require you to show them your passport.

I think it's reasonable to have someone who hasn't undergone the reassignment surgery yet use the bathroom associated with their physical sex.

That's a different story once the surgery has been done.

Five years ago I would have disagreed with you rather vociferously. That's before the trans community went batshit crazy and the cynics started trolling. Now, I think some scientifically observable line needs to be drawn.
