I'm generally for doing more research into the psychology of gender dysphoria so that maybe someday we could find some sort of psychotherapy that can help? Or some sort of psychological medication?

I'm not gender dysphoric anymore except when I feel threatened by laws that could place me in danger - mens bathrooms or jail cells with guys. Stuff like that. Or ID that doesn't match my obvious appearance and anatomy.

@Malt_Hitman there are countries where homosexuality is illegal and punished with a death sentence, they even lob all other forms of “deviant behavior” into the category that get death.
If you fall in one the deviant categories, just hope your plane doesn’t have to do a controlled emergency landing. This will require you to show them your passport.

I just like to be polite.

I think it's reasonable to have someone who hasn't undergone the reassignment surgery yet use the bathroom associated with their physical sex.

That's a different story once the surgery has been done.
