Trump calls him "Beto the Pedo."

2018-12-03 00:25:31 UTC

I'd like to reinforce your position, but unfortunately I do favor strict authoritarian government with moral legislation and the repression of freedom, so I think a lot of reasonable people probably feel justified calling me a nazi.

2018-12-03 00:25:34 UTC

a free speech system needs to be uncensorable enough that you couldnt even remove CP

2018-12-03 00:25:48 UTC

like blockchains.

2018-12-03 00:25:55 UTC

You believe a system of free speech needs to allow child pornography?

2018-12-03 00:26:23 UTC

@Bookworm no, it doesnt need to allow is as there would literaly be no way to stop it

2018-12-03 00:26:31 UTC

Another problem

2018-12-03 00:26:40 UTC

You're misusing 'free speech'

2018-12-03 00:26:43 UTC

@Bookworm if you could stop anything you WILL eventualy stop free speech

2018-12-03 00:26:45 UTC

So, a system of free speech needs to be unable to stop child pornography.

2018-12-03 00:27:05 UTC

The ability itself means the system will eventually stop being unrestricted.

2018-12-03 00:27:08 UTC

Video is more in line with the press, first off.

2018-12-03 00:27:12 UTC

twitter branded itself as the free speech wing of the free speech party, remember that?

2018-12-03 00:27:55 UTC

@Bookworm well, CP has been in the bitcoin blockchain for a long ass time now

2018-12-03 00:28:15 UTC

I'm not sure what that means.

2018-12-03 00:28:40 UTC

you know there is some text that can be user generated, right? Well, you can encode pictures into ASCII symbols and code that back into a picture.

2018-12-03 00:29:36 UTC

So, they just hide child pornography in cryptocurrency.

2018-12-03 00:29:41 UTC

Fiendish.

2018-12-03 00:30:51 UTC

yeah. And by now we have blockchains for social media. Again files such as pictures would have to be saved in a different manner as you dont typicly want to code something as big as a picture onto the blockchain but itd be entirely possible

2018-12-03 00:32:48 UTC

Cp gets into some weird territory, I'll gladly debate/discuss in a bit.

2018-12-03 00:35:28 UTC

it does and it also depends on the definition of porn

2018-12-03 00:35:48 UTC

First I'll say, no. Defense of CP, WHILE problematic, does not make you a pedo

2018-12-03 00:35:58 UTC

cause in the US all nudity is somehow seen as pornographic and dads arrested for having a picture of their daughters in the bathtub

2018-12-03 00:36:01 UTC

Enjoyment does. Making it does.

2018-12-03 00:36:57 UTC

Sexuality of the content should be a determining factor.

2018-12-03 00:37:01 UTC

Well making it makes you first and foremost a sexual child abuser and i dont care if you are a pedo or not thats not acceptable

2018-12-03 00:37:10 UTC

and most sexual child abusers actualy arent pedophile

2018-12-03 00:37:26 UTC

at least according to the american psychiatric association or my german sources

2018-12-03 00:37:56 UTC

Could you agree that regulation of CP is a means to inhibit abuse?

2018-12-03 00:38:37 UTC

That that's the intention, first and foremost?

2018-12-03 00:39:42 UTC

sure. id argue charging anyone with mere posession is not actualy a means to that (let alone if that includes some teenager that sent a dickpick of himself)

2018-12-03 00:40:52 UTC

As much as that is clearly pornographic in nature

2018-12-03 00:41:50 UTC

That's common ground.

2018-12-03 00:44:33 UTC

Okay. If someone pays for CP or recognises a place or person in such material and doesnt report it now that definatly should be punished.

2018-12-03 00:50:53 UTC

So, I think it can be quite clear if someone is predatory or not.

2018-12-03 00:51:15 UTC

@Beemann You have US presidents openly assasinate US citizens, and your own intelligence agency is unconstitutionally watching over you, so yeah, the ground is ripe, all yyou need is one very ambitious president and it's check mate.

2018-12-03 00:51:49 UTC

Let's say, for instance

2018-12-03 00:52:14 UTC

A teenager sends a deck pic

2018-12-03 00:52:31 UTC

@RyeNorth well that interestingly is how its dealt with with 14 or 15 year olds and sex in germany. Yeah a 14 year old can consent to a 50 year old, but till age 16 there are still protections predicated on abuses of their inexperience and such

2018-12-03 00:52:50 UTC

(now thats irrelevant to porn, thats allways 18)

2018-12-03 00:52:53 UTC

That's technically pornographic, but it's not predatory
