They are basicly the same though so what's the difference?
no they aren't lol
Repubs and Alt Right like controlled immigrations they are the same
That is not true
Yeah, the US was built on rebellion. Canada was not.
So was Canada they are both democraies.
mmhmm
@RyeNorth too bad that got thrown out the window long ago
yeah, they are, but they run them completely differently
@Grenade123 That's the true path back, if we could just take it. :/
Actually, I guess it's still limited by the people. The law counts corporations as people so.
But the values are the same. So they are the same nationlity.
no
we don't value guns as highly as americans
Okay
it's bad enough
and again, culturally we are greatly differnet
And well, free speech isnt really that free there
when you're butchering definitions
stop butchering the spelling as well
Well, spelling does not matter when we can see the message.
You think a nation is values not a people so tell me how by your logic it isn't the case.
@O_Castitatis_Lilium perhaps Aussie is making you change your mind on the gun thing
actually no lol, all I can do is be sad for him, nothing more

noun
a large aggregate of people united by common descent, history, culture, or language, inhabiting a particular country or territory.
Well, we are expecting someone to summarize a thesis into one two sentences here
can we move on?
We all define a country differently
My point is that a nation is a people not values or Canada a America would be the same country becasue they believe in basicly the same things.
Why do we have to make it fit aussies version?

Hate borrowing the post modernists dictionary here
no we wouldn't because like Jaden said, America was founded on rebellion, Canada was not
america had to fight for it's freedom, we asked for it
But its really subjective here. Who can we trust to make the objective definition of what defines a country
But what would stop them becoming the same country becasue they have a simlar hisotry, language and values.
when you enter a country
adopt a culture
adopt a language
you join a nation.
