I was thinking about monty pythons the life of brian last night.. and how they faced a lot of backlash from the religious community and almost got banned... but ultimately the media stood up for comedy saying "its just a bit of fun" ... I wonder if they would have the same reaction today if it was "the life of mahmood"
I mean obviously if it featured mohammed then its instantly a no-go .. but if it was a similar story - but no depiction of the prophet
