what logic even is this
“Atticus Finch who is indeed a racist”
I can’t even.
its not logic, its mental gymnastics
big difference
What _isn’t_ “racist” in this day and age
Don’t want to help black people? racist
but somehow wanting to help them is racist too?
being racist in the name of getting free stuff with your fellow non-racists
that makes you not racist
the term racist barely means anything anymore
the term racist just means "you don't agree with me or give me free stuff"
at this point racist means "not communist" so i just take it as a compliment
I can practically see rosa parks rolling in her grave right now
what about MLK?
him too
not sure why rosa parks came to mind first haha
Poor MLK
really, any civil rights activist from back then
The black family unit used to be strong, and I heard of those black churches with kickass choirs.
Now what we got now? Ghetto niggers whi shoot up and shoot each other.
Not all of course, but well, the high rate of singlemotherhood isnt helping.
And damn you see how successful black men are treated by the far left?
it was never about them,
The far left are all just people who want free stuff, cuz they feel they're entitled to it
and whatever justification they need to think that, they'll tell themselves,
Be it "I deserve it cuz i'm good to <Lesser people>"
"I deserve it cuz my arts degree is just as valuable as your engineering degree"
"I deserve it cuz its my basic human right"
Both have always existed you know.
The single mother thing isnt altogether that new either i think.
1980's or so when it hit near what it is now i think?
I think the relatively slow rise of it also goes quite a bit even before that.
Its just too darn high. Abortions amongst them too. Too many single moms realize its more welfare being single with a child.
"When Moynihan warned in his 1965 report on the coming destruction of the Black family, however, the out-of-wedlock birthrate had increased to 25% among the Black population.[25] This figure continued to rise over time and in 1991, 68% of Black children were born outside of marriage."
Quick bit from wikipedia.
'Out of wedlock' doesnt really 1:1 with single mothers per say, but it might be fairly close.
Interesting that the civil rights act was passed in 1964. So if you werent paying attention to any other factors, you could see that statistic and draw a correlation.
Did the civil rights action do something specifically?
Or did the parties learn something.
?
Unsure of what answer you're fishing for.
Or what you mean by 'did the parties learn something'
I mean the decline of the family unit. Was it caused by the civil rights movement. Or was it due to them becoming a voting bloc and the parties started running out to grab their vote.
Decline of the family unit isnt a black only thing.
And as you can see the dems have a strangllehold on them through alot of welfare.
You seem to at least somewhat be falling for what i think alot of people might, when they see that statistic.
Yes, blacks have a higher rate of out-of-wedlock births
