People were going crazy about it here yesterday.
With like 85k dislikes to 15k likes
YT is, ultimately, limited reach compared to mainstream news.
First thing as well.
Why Nelson Mandela of all people?
Just saying, this is the narrative we are going to receive and not to expect anything to come out of anything.
He should not be a icon at all.
At least someone to aspire to
Nelson Mandela is pretty important for South African Politics.
That alone is going to make him a key figure.
And was also responsible for SA become the shithole it is now
I wouldn't go that far.
Well, maybe he isnt directly responsible, but it hasnt improved since him taking control
And even if it were the case, he has his supporters and did do some good things.
I dont disagree there. Theres good in the bad.
So there's no reason South Africa shouldn't honor him in some way.
But the sum of the parts sum up to SA becoming alot worse off than it is.
I guess. He is an icon who deserves to be remembered.
I just wish people would also get the whole picture, good and bad
You can say that about alot of people. But it's not a reason to tear down celebrations in his name.
I just think hes overrated, thats all.
store exiled due to kekistani flags
i need to get rid of my magic cards
ive got like 10-20k$ worth
I dont like where this narative is heading
And its comming from multiple outlets
Also when they " demote " certain content they are talking about ppl like Tim as well
😡
its all planned
Well facebook and youtube are in a hard place with this
If they straight censor it could trigger exodus of ppl
So they do all these half measures
This narrative is ultimately the goal. The legacy media and powers that be want to reassert control of the internet and stamp out any opposing narratives.
They can't do it on their own and they don't want to pick a fight with the government (due to the 1st amendment) so they go after the social media companies instead.
I get the impression alot of the base employees at YT and FB want to play censor but the leadership is still libertarian.
Well its also economic
They need the ad bucks
