The Fed has been an enemy to savings for the past decade. At least when it comes to the fed rate. It's all predicted that spending = good , saving = bad. That's why the rate is low, in part, it's to discourage savings

it will die because rational people will slowly but surely stop falling or it - because they keep pushing and are getting more into the spotlight which means more people will see their lies and misrepresentations as just that.
Yes but if these rational people cannot take a stand against it, or if the narrative only goes for it, then the effect will only be one way.
Rationality does not always lead to power. The minority has ruled in the majority of human societies.

That's not the plan on the left. To them it's a war of attrition. If there aren't alternatives people will eventually just give up and let them win.
