Joseph Mifsud definitely has connections, but he never worked directly in the CIA or MI6 as far as I know. @A Haunted Army
Stephen Halper definitely did. So did Steele.
Alexander Downer, the Ambassador who reported Papadopulos served on the board of directors for a private intelligence company filled with former MI6. He supposedly has connections to Steele and Halper
@A Haunted Army here’s a good article on that subject

So gib Ukraine nuke
The violation of the memorandum took place in 2014, under Obama. Had Obama acted decisively, the annexation of Crimea could've been avoided.
Analogous to the reoccupation of the Rhineland.
And it started under Clinton
Had Great Britain or France acted decisively, the standing order was for immediate retreat.
"On 24 March 2014, Canadian Prime Minister Stephen Harper led the rest of the G7 partners at an ad-hoc meeting during the Nuclear Security Summit in The Hague to suspend Russian membership, partially, said Harper, because Russia had violated the Budapest Memorandum. He said that Ukraine had given up its nuclear weapons "on the basis of an explicit Russian guarantee of its territorial integrity. By breaching that guarantee, President Putin has provided a rationale for those elsewhere who needed little more than that already furnished by pride or grievance to arm themselves to the teeth." Harper also indicated support for Ukraine by saying he would work with the new Ukrainian government towards a free trade agreement.[26] Harper was subsequently defeated in the federal election of October 15,2015, and resigned as leader of the Conservative Party."
Ayy
If Obama airlifted an Armored Brigade Combat Team to Poland under the pretext of an exercise, then perhaps that would've been sufficient.
🤢
Harper was just on Ben Shapiro actually @Beemann
Neat. He's a bit of a dork and a little too neocon but every so often I come across a solid decision
And at least he didn't tax small business to death
He did muzzle his scientists tho
and that's annoying
The first reply to this tweet is "Trump will cede Ukraine to his pal, Putin"
This is exactly how the left intends to pressure Trump into intervention.
Basically "If you don't start a war with Russia you're Putin's bitch"
Absolute insanity.
So many useful idiots who were born too late to remember the cold war.
i was born to late but was taught all about it in school.
which boiled down to "Russia hates the US and we hate them. and McCarthy was probably not the best."
german government released a brochure for kindergardens
to fight "wrong opinions" of parents and kids, since the right parties in germany get so many voters nowadays
I always get confused over when it's America's job to police the entire world and save them from oppression, and when American intervention would be modern day colonialism.
@mer.at The "right fright" is really appaling in Germany right now...
they seem to want to go full commie here
I never implicated Trump for our failure to live up to the declaration. I'm not even certain we're wrong since I'm not sure we should go to war over Ukraine. I'm saying we never should have made the commitment.
Watch the left denigrate Trump for talking to Putin with the goal of *avoiding war*.
Obama correctly realized it would be suicide for us to become militarily involved in Ukraine. We can form a decent defensive line with eastern Europe (Baltics notwithstanding) and we have tripwire troops there and a clear treaty agreement with NATO. Not the case with Ukraine.
Economic sanctions were employed by Europe and the rest of the world including the US in 2014. We need to clamp that more even if it's inconvenient to us (ie gas and oil).
Tell that to Germany and France.
Oh, sanctioning gas and oil is not inconvenient to you
Europe might have a different opinion though
Who, oddly enough, are trying to convince their citizens that they don't need the US and can't depend on them.
