I swear to god they're not going to stop until we're all radioactive ash.

2018-11-27 16:21:58 UTC

They want war so fucking bad.

2018-11-27 16:22:49 UTC

For the record, I hate Russia even though I also think the Democrats need to lay off the conspiracy theories.

@tbnboy815

"Google has banned expletives and racial slurs from its predictive technologies, as well as mentions of its business rivals or tragic events."

I smell...antitrust.

2018-11-27 16:22:54 UTC

Assange would already have been JDAM'd by now had Hillary won.

2018-11-27 16:37:35 UTC

Yeah, finding something to criticize Russia isn’t exactly hard, but the conspiracy theories are out of control.

2018-11-27 16:44:36 UTC

Wew fucking lad that's bad.

2018-11-27 16:54:35 UTC

Obama did something like this on his way out.

2018-11-27 17:05:19 UTC

What’s interesting is the media has criticized Hungary for putting government money into its media. Claiming it killed their free press. Who wants to bet that the left will react differently to what’s happening in Canada?

"The bipartisan bill, which was introduced by Senators Portman and Murphy in March, will improve the ability of the United States to counter foreign propaganda and disinformation from our enemies by establishing an interagency center housed at the State Department to coordinate and synchronize counter-propaganda efforts throughout the U.S. government."

2018-11-27 17:35:57 UTC

i guess thats the source for most of these "anonymous" sources

2018-11-27 17:38:30 UTC

No way to know. We don’t even know who’s getting the money. It’s all secret, so you could turn on CNN or read a NYT article that’s straight up government propaganda and you wouldn’t know.

2018-11-27 17:39:55 UTC

considering these "anonymous" sources tend to drop "bomshells" at convient times related to specific political events, i'd wager its this interagancy department

"the legislation seeks to leverage expertise from outside government to create more adaptive and responsive U.S. strategy options. The legislation establishes a fund to help train local journalists and provide grants and contracts to NGOs, civil society organizations, think tanks, private sector companies, media organizations, and other experts outside the U.S. government with experience in identifying and analyzing the latest trends in foreign government disinformation techniques. This fund will complement and support the Center’s role by integrating capabilities and expertise available outside the U.S. government into the strategy-making process. It will also empower a decentralized network of private sector experts and integrate their expertise into the strategy-making process."

2018-11-27 17:40:29 UTC

this is the scaries bit though IMO

2018-11-27 17:40:52 UTC

pulling it from <https://www.portman.senate.gov/public/index.cfm/2016/12/president-signs-portman-murphy-counter-propaganda-bill-into-law> since that was whats linked in the zero hedge article and i find reading that site a pain for some reason

2018-11-27 17:43:57 UTC

On the subject of Ukraine, the US under Bush II is a signatory to the Budapest Memorandum that paved the way for Ukraine to give up thier nukes in return for Western promises to guarantee thier territorial integrity. The lesson for any weak nations now is get nukes and never give then up.

2018-11-27 17:44:11 UTC

that manafort assange thing, wouldn't surprise me if the source is someone on meullers team to try and create a piece of evidence to prove the assertion that manafort is lying

2018-11-27 17:44:29 UTC

The Budapest Memorandum was never made a treaty. It's just a now broken promise.

2018-11-27 17:54:22 UTC

Yeah, the Ukraine made a big mistake. Never trust another country to defend you. Not trying to excuse our part, but that’s the truth.

2018-11-27 17:54:45 UTC

The FBI has a leak culture, so that’s possible @A Haunted Army

2018-11-27 18:00:12 UTC

yeah, but i was more thinking how steele did that with his dossier to try and give it more validity and those news articles apparently helped with obtaining visa warrents

2018-11-27 18:00:49 UTC

er not visa i think? the thing that lets them spy on american citizens

2018-11-27 18:01:59 UTC

i just find it odd how atm we get news of mueller's team saying manafor has lied to investigators, then we get this manafort meating assange stuff

2018-11-27 18:02:13 UTC

with politics i don't beleive on coicidences

2018-11-27 18:10:34 UTC

FISA warrants. Foreign Intelligence surveillance. It’s not meant to spy on American citizens specifically. They can target them under specific circumstances. For example in this case Stephen Halper, a former CIA spy turned intelligence mercenary lured Gates and Papadopulos out of the country to trap them. Because these conversations happened in another country they could get the FISA warrants. Which are almost always approved. @A Haunted Army

I guess we’ll see if they’re related.

2018-11-27 18:11:51 UTC

The Ambassador that talked to Papadopoulos was also connected to MI6. And another private intelligence group

2018-11-27 18:12:16 UTC

well thats what i meant, the warrant lets them target citizens for spying based on specific, supposedly strict criteria and has to be renewed every few months.

2018-11-27 18:12:47 UTC

and yeah i've seen the stuff about papdopulos effectively being entrapment

2018-11-27 18:13:03 UTC

it sounds like they fed him some info then used him discussing it to spy on him

2018-11-27 18:14:31 UTC

i have no idea on how true that is though, information seems rather sparse with no investigations really done into it outside of /pol/

2018-11-27 18:16:17 UTC

The university professor that offered Papadopulos the dirt on Hillary has also worked with MI6. Which is interesting.

2018-11-27 18:17:40 UTC

i thought he was a known cia spook?

2018-11-27 18:27:47 UTC

Joseph Mifsud definitely has connections, but he never worked directly in the CIA or MI6 as far as I know. @A Haunted Army

Stephen Halper definitely did. So did Steele.

2018-11-27 18:32:48 UTC

Alexander Downer, the Ambassador who reported Papadopulos served on the board of directors for a private intelligence company filled with former MI6. He supposedly has connections to Steele and Halper

2018-11-27 19:13:08 UTC

So gib Ukraine nuke
