Exactly. I'm often not in agreement with Styx's message and certainly not his outrage, but this was a case where he was quite rational and civil. Likely has something to do with his livelihood being involved but I also do think he believes there is a serious chance his positive persuasion and that of others may make a difference here. I hope people follow his example and don't get hyperbolic before there's a reason to be.
Heh, if the lolbert right was remotely as entrepreneurial as its own ideology then there'd already be 10 crowdfunding startups competing to support right-wing creators.
When I visited France back in 2017, it was clear that tensions were high. In both Paris and Lille I regularly came across groups of 3 soldiers patrolling the streets at all times of the day. I can't imagine what's going on now.
@pratel and in Canada too. A union involved with Canada Post just got legislated back to work and another union ended up picketing for them and blocking off one of their distribution centers.
