You build models, put them on a board, and they have rules in a book that have stats for them
I suspect a Voice Chat tonight
Imagine a dice-based RTS
Books. Plural
I have three for 7th
And there's 4, maybe 5 for 8th
RTS? Or turn based?
It's turn based
Table top
Hmm so it's like a more complex chess
Kinda
It's fun cause every army is different, you can have 10 players with the same faction and completely different units
So what units you have are basically whatever you buy? Like a TCG
Yup, though it's mostly divided into factions
Considering you can do a morale check and if it fails you can have your comissar shoot a marine to restore morale, but if you roll your dice a certain number, the comissar can shoot himself instead. (This did happen BTW)
Hmm
God damn, Y'all need to introduce me to this shit. Like a complete beginners guide and shit
Yeet
I want to get into it
Sounds cool
Make board games great again
that series is comic gold and pretty good at giving the lore
If The Emperor*
I don't want the lore just yet, I want to learn how to play first
I usually play Tyranids because I already hate my friends
Wow that shit is expensive
>Play the Tau
yup
ur a monster
Yeah. I beat it to their forgeworld models
Expensive sexy shit
But I plan on buying into Death Korps. I have spare parts from existing ww2 kits and I want some 40k SS units
This will make your head hurt
I like 40k. I have a grey knights army. Well sort of anyways. Was good in like 5th edition.
good?
Death Korps of Krieg in a nutshell
Good as in the units I had formed an army.
Grey Knights made Daemons unusable in 5th lol
Not so much last time I looked.
