This is a smart move.
That isn't going to go well for them.

But the right has the advantage overall in my honest opinion, most of the left strongholds are centered on cities and cities are going to starve in the event of combat by arms.
That's not their strategy. They're planning to make it impossible for the right to win elections while making it look fair.
I feel like enough people are aware of those tactics that it would be difficult for them to pull off on a really large scale though

It would fall down to around ten or so states though
Basicaly over 50% of the population is in ten states
So their issues would matter more then other states, also the disproporinate number of people in cities vrs people in rural would be harmful to the less populated states as well.
modern communists/socialists are depressing, they have a very narrow and particuler mind to make them correct on some thing, hell just as correct as the forfathers of communism were, but woefuly ignorent to how the rest of the world works and the ways the people they are inspired by were incorrect about how the world works were devistating and pale in comparison to how modern ones are wrong.
