As for why it's in fake news, honestly I misread it as actually being the only place where one posts news content, not noticing the newsroom channel. I'll fix that.

There are definitely unhinged violent right-wingers. They're on all sides not just the left. A right-winger that makes a threat is probably some disheveled 50+ working class loser who is immediately (and rightfully) reported to authorities and dealt with according to the law. Left-wingers who make threats can often be from the blue check intelligentsia, and they tend to have a lot more acceptance and sympathy on their side of the spectrum.
So neither side is innocent, but there does appear to be some difference in how they are treated afterwards.

The *really* Violent Right wingers also tend to live out in the woods somewhere and, while probably able to actually carry out their threats, are usually too isolated to actually bother doing anything.
You also won't really see them much.
But a threat is a threat regardless of who does it.
