I'm not a fan of too many migrants making their way into western countries. A lot of people in Cali wanna give them a free pass, especially illegals (I'm mixed on this subject tbh), but it's really insulting to a lot of the immigrants who came here legally and had to work their asses off just to stay here. My parents worked hard to build a life here, I've seen them struggle and grew up with it.

Yeah man it's hard. My dad came to AZ from Brazil on student Visa to get a degree. He had to apply for scholarships, his parents could only afford helping him out with rent. Universities are tough on people immigrating here legally but they'll advocate hard for stuff like DACA.

It's a real slap in the face.

Don Lemon being referred to as a piece of shit isn't anything new. Partly from the way he speaks and from his general demeanor, he's detached from a lot of issues that people with less economic resources go through. Now that isn't to throw some bullshit anti capitalist claims. But it points out that not only is he detached and very possibly arrogant, he probably sucks his own dick because of the fact that he is black he has social capita to shit on and judge others, despite never having to really fight for the rights that he enjoys today.

Make no mistake, I'm somewhat glad someone like Don Lemon is in the position that he is despite ramifications, because at the end of the day it reinforces the idea that no matter what color you are, what you identify as, whether or not you wear a fur suit, you as a human being have potential to be a massive piece of shit.
