well good luck
Neither are perfect solutions, but one involves less bloodshed and instability
Again, autocracies rely on personalities
If the personality fails, the system fails
Yeah, monarchy involves way less bloodshed, and instability
Look, I would prefer to live in a monarchy myself, I would be Bismarck if I had the chance
yeah bye im way to not sober for this
But democracies do have inherent advantages over autocracies
none
literally none
Are you saying it just to say it or do you have an actual rebuke of any point I have to say?
Because I want to believe you but I have no reason to
I'm an anarchist, but monarchies are infinitely superior to democracy
Good luck voting people out lol
How so, halfthink?
Why are monarchies superior?
Good luck kicking people out when they single handedly control the military
If I must be a slave, I would rather be privately owned than publicly owned
Easier still
How
I
Want
To
Believe
You
But
I
Need
A
REASON
explain the point
For democracy you have to change the ideological bedrock
I’m on your fucking side, I just want to make sure you people can raise actual points when you’re in a serious discussion
@halfthink You know any philosophers that argued for democracy?
If I tried to defend monarchy, I would say that it is a better representation of societal structures and can provide superior mechanisms for selecting a superior leader.
Hobbes
The ur-social unit is the family, with the father at the helm, making decisions for the unit and directing it.
Thomas Hobbes was very much in favor of autocratic governments
As social units grow in size, there still must remain a singular unit at the head, directing it.
