Thanks.
So what are people's opinions on the Supreme Court allowing Trump to enforce his transgender military ban?
Wasn't the reasoning stated that their health issues would be too much of a burdern on the military?
gender dysphoria being a 4-F is fine to me
there's actually even a line in the rules about amputated penises that produce urination problems
I think institutions need to be allowed to acknowledge the medical problems of transsexuals
making it discrimination to do that will cause serious problems, that everyone will resent, that no one will want to deal with, that everyone will be forced to do anyway
Its fine to have health standards for the military. Add on the fact that suicide rates are high amongst transpeople and honestly, it makes sense
Trans people should be banned. You can't be in if you take any regular meds that you can't be separated from. If you're trans, then you're taking hormones.
I'm prior service, btw.

From your experience, do you find that servicemen are better or worse people than the average American citizen?
Neither
they mostly act like normal people
So some are good
some are bad
Since I was in the military just like the rest of the world you got your scumbags and you got your cool people.
Yeah you have the shirkers and you have the dutiful as well.
Soldiers are just people at the end of the day, I like to think there are more good ones then bad ones though.
I'm glad others agree with my take on the ban
Based insurance salesman, so to speak.
So why is it ok for all the racial and sex orientation pride groups to get glowing statements on wikipedia
Except for white pride?
Personally I think racial pride overall is dumb. National pride is the one that actually matters
That's my thing. I'm American first, but I feel like a lot of people put their heritage first, even if it's something that they've never experienced
I put American as my ethnicity on applications whenever I get the “other” option lol
For real tho. Technically Im Italian but Ive never lived in Italy
Around where I live there's a pretty decent sized bald eagle population. I've scared my wife on more than one occasion because every time I see one, even if I'm in the middle of a sentence I yell "AMERICA"
My family just eats more Italian cuisine and thats the extent of my heritage’s influence
LOL
true patriot
I'm Irish by heritage, and I've visited Ireland, lived in the UK and I loved it. I'm still American first.

But now if you say that you're a nationalist or *gasp* a patriot it's called white supremacy somehow
I went to Dublin and there's nothing there it was weird af
