I have no sympathy. hope he fully recovers and realizes this but other than that that
now the question: If the antifa guy filed charges, would they stick? You could argue the guys punch was intended to knock out and therefore excessive force. You might also argue that the antifa guy was attempting self defense based off something going on slight out of view of that video (haven't checked for more). But you could also argue the antifa guy had a weapon and this was self defense on the punching guys part. Personally, i think if get into a melee, and clearly engage in it when you had a chance to back up and run, you are liable for your own injuries unless you can prove there was intent to kill or severely maim.
Urban camouflage.
in places like california, that style baton is illegal i believe.
"many sides"
of course that is california so criminals get treated nicely and your average citizen is charged with a million felonies for trying to follow the law and register is guns.
plus he is antifa
Pretty sure the Antifa guy doesn't have a leg to stand on in court. Too many videos from too many angles showing him masked, initiating armed violence on an unarmed man.
Then again, California.
Hey, no talk of Vile Murder Assault Weapons allowed here
Wait no this was Portland.
Maybe there is some sanity?
what is it with portland recently
is this all the same event i've been hearing about for what feels like months or has there just been constant borderline riots?
neither were disengaging from the fight so if it might be hard to claim self defense
not only that both sides I've what they were doing
Don't know if it's true or not but the guy who punched (named Rufio?) was apparently released.
g'evenin'
Howdy Posh
@I AM ERROR Bernie's a social democrat, interested in making changes to the current system rather than abolishing it. Folks need to clarify what they mean when they say "democratic socialism."
"extensive state regulation" can also have significant drawbacks as well...
The balance between "limited government" and "extensive regulation" is an important one.
The welfare state is a net good, but it only works with a strong capitalist foundation
if the DSA says they want to abolish capitalism
they are socialist
Not to mention well. You must avoid making a welfare dependent demographic. Easy votes there.
if Cortez is a meber of and endorsed by the DSA I can only assume she agrees with abolishing capitalism
Good news tho? The socialist party here lost their only seat.
Has she made any definitive statements either way?
something about ocasio rubs me the wrong way
oh, the video shows here
anytime the media picks a golden candidate I get concernes
figured it would just be link like newsroom lmao
I like Quartering
I dislike his lack of 'Oxford Comma'
I was wrong about Owens maybe. so I could be wrong again. but if she's the face of the new left movement. I'm even more worries
we can't have an unchecked right as much as we can't have an unchecked left
which means centrist ideas
WOTC created a monster
