Regarding today's TimCast video on the Guild Wars 2 firing: I left a comment below the vid but I'll post here anyways. There were many tweets by the fired writer that were left out by articles covering it to portray the firing as unjust. Some tweets:

The other fired writer was the one that brought up "mansplaining" and that people should not respond to her personal account despite being an open platform. His firing wasn't given much attention to push the sexism narrative. His tweets were deleted: https://archive.fo/CQ5BB

Oh, here is an outlet that covered it in detail and where I got the above info:
