Right
The etymological root for the word atheism originated before the 5th century BCE from the ancient Greek ἄθεος (atheos), meaning "without god(s)".
Atheism is, in the broadest sense, the absence of belief in the existence of deities. Less broadly, atheism is the rejection of belief that any deities exist. In an even narrower sense, atheism is specifically the position that there are no deities.
there is a god? can you see this? makes sense? wheeooowheeeoooo god alert
My computer... is god?
Deus Ex Machina
all and nothing
if god not real who invented the dab
Okay, but agnostics don't think it's all or nothing.
dab is a nazi move,
it stands for
Die
Arischen
Bruderschap
😉
Maybe there is a god, maybe there isn't, some of this stuff seems legit, and I like the stories.
no god is all and god is nothing. we are god. we can choose how we determine what god is. do other animals do this? are we greater than any other being we've encountered so far?
I think there's both value and danger in organized religion.
i think god is you when you die. you relfect back on your life and see what heaven or hell you created
theres nothing religions gives that can't be replaced,
And it breeds ignorance of fact
organized religion is ironic in itself. religion is to the self, so we must teach the self to be sturdy to withstand the weight of life.
At risk of sounding like a walking, talking fedora
I don't think everyone is ready to come to grips with the idea that God might not exist
its not even that
its much worse Rye
No I don't think so.
People don't want to come to grips that communism is bad, and even without government you will have to work too
is it what we think it is? how can we conceive it... i have no idea what im talking about but we can decide to do things on choice? or is just some bacteria in my belly telling my meatsack to change the channel?
God is a non-issue ultimately,
Its a meaning of life that people seek
People used to find meaning by following the word of god (in religion)
Then the west started killing god, and people lost meaning
Now they seek meaning in bringing good to the world by all means a new dogma (SJW'ism)
Oh, no, I absolutely believe that.
Once we figure out how to do immortality, people will become GODS
100% agree.
That's actually my baggiest problem with Jordan Peterson. Is his constant reliance god.
And religion specifically.
If you're going to REMOVE Dogma from your life
You can't replace it with an atheistic replacement.
People replaced one faith with another,
Faith in a god, and serving his faith is the greater good
Disobey, and you are a sinner that must serve pennance (and are born with original sin)
Faith in SJW, and serving the faith is the greater good
Disobey, and you are a racist that must serve pennance (and are born with original oppression)
rip google
I don't like the way JP phrases his assertion that western civilization is based on Christian values.
It's part of his word games that is unnecessary
western civilization IS in part based on christian values, we just stopped following the dogma part
and we made our own
It is based on Christian values
the Secular civilisation,
We took the good, and dropped the bad
