2018-07-14 16:18:42 UTC

but god doesssssssss

2018-07-14 16:19:21 UTC

No I don't think so.

2018-07-14 16:19:28 UTC

People don't want to come to grips that communism is bad, and even without government you will have to work too

2018-07-14 16:19:35 UTC

is it what we think it is? how can we conceive it... i have no idea what im talking about but we can decide to do things on choice? or is just some bacteria in my belly telling my meatsack to change the channel?

God is a non-issue ultimately,

Its a meaning of life that people seek

People used to find meaning by following the word of god (in religion)
Then the west started killing god, and people lost meaning

Now they seek meaning in bringing good to the world by all means a new dogma (SJW'ism)

2018-07-14 16:19:57 UTC

Oh, no, I absolutely believe that.

2018-07-14 16:19:58 UTC

Once we figure out how to do immortality, people will become GODS

2018-07-14 16:20:04 UTC

100% agree.

2018-07-14 16:20:10 UTC

That's actually my baggiest problem with Jordan Peterson. Is his constant reliance god.

2018-07-14 16:20:22 UTC

And religion specifically.

2018-07-14 16:20:31 UTC

If you're going to REMOVE Dogma from your life

2018-07-14 16:20:50 UTC

You can't replace it with an atheistic replacement.

2018-07-14 16:21:01 UTC

People replaced one faith with another,

Faith in a god, and serving his faith is the greater good
Disobey, and you are a sinner that must serve pennance (and are born with original sin)

Faith in SJW, and serving the faith is the greater good
Disobey, and you are a racist that must serve pennance (and are born with original oppression)

2018-07-14 16:21:03 UTC

rip google

2018-07-14 16:21:29 UTC

I don't like the way JP phrases his assertion that western civilization is based on Christian values.

2018-07-14 16:21:39 UTC

It's part of his word games that is unnecessary

2018-07-14 16:21:51 UTC

western civilization IS in part based on christian values, we just stopped following the dogma part

2018-07-14 16:21:56 UTC

and we made our own

2018-07-14 16:21:57 UTC

It is based on Christian values

2018-07-14 16:22:11 UTC

the Secular civilisation,

We took the good, and dropped the bad

2018-07-14 16:22:14 UTC

When n end-user claims local account on the PC password has been changed and they think I would know about it even though I have not touched the computer for months

2018-07-14 16:22:19 UTC

The problem is people replacing those values with a new dogma.

2018-07-14 16:22:19 UTC

right, but the values are not soloy Christian in origin

2018-07-14 16:22:23 UTC

Which is my problem

2018-07-14 16:22:30 UTC

its "Judeo-christian" 😉

2018-07-14 16:22:58 UTC

Judo Christian!! :D

Karate-faithful

2018-07-14 16:23:04 UTC

It's based on enlightenment values, which is more based on ancient Greek philosophy than Christian values. @missdanger

2018-07-14 16:23:08 UTC

It's like "hey look, at set of values that existed before these religions, and in areas outside these religions, but let's only attribute them to these religions"

2018-07-14 16:23:32 UTC

Ultimately, I disagree vehemently with principles of Christianity and Judaism, but I respect that they are fundamentally better than chaos.

2018-07-14 16:23:36 UTC

Like I said, it's word games. Not technically wrong, but a bit misleading if you are not paying attention

2018-07-14 16:23:36 UTC

We just did the roman thing,

We looked at other civilisations, hand picked things we liked, and used them for our own

2018-07-14 16:24:01 UTC

we "Appropriated" cultural values we approved of 😄

2018-07-14 16:24:22 UTC

thats the whole trick right? learn, adapt, improve or somethin?

2018-07-14 16:24:52 UTC

What are you guys talking about

2018-07-14 16:24:56 UTC

God

2018-07-14 16:25:01 UTC

2018-07-14 16:25:02 UTC
