thats... a long time
That's the time of training.
^
Ever heard of people who want 3 years of experience in a program that has only existed for 3 months?
Nobody has ever heard of apprenticeships and OJT?
Oh we don't train in america anymore.
apprenticeships have not be a major thing in the long time
a lot of entry level jobs these days...well at least 3 years ago, had a requirement for 5+ years in the industry
I wonder why that is....
well you know, the 2008 recession meant they didn't NEED to
It's absolutely pathological.
plenty of people who had time in the field but didn't have work
thats only changed recently
Often the ridiculous requirements are a scam to justify applying to H1Bs.
Catch-22s are a disease.
XD "need prior experience for entry level position"
you used to be able to get "entry" level which was basically just a bachelor degree
then they would train you from there
basically the same as apprenticeship
XD when one of those positions pays 12 an hour >.>
good luck paying that debt
pretty much promoting that someone who pathologically makes bad descisions will take that job
Predatory employers are the worst form of human.
@Atkins you don't understand, they didn;t NEED to look outside the us until recently.
Bullshit.
japane being woke
They've been doing this shit for decades.
naw, because i looked at jobs BEFORE the recession
XD
Jesus fuck dude.
thats all i got
because i was in high school, around junior year looking for what to do, when that went into full effect.
5+ years was not a requirement then
go to school for most of the recession because i was lucky, get out and suddenly you need 5+ years
got lucky with a paid internship that turned into a full time job after a year
I don't care who you are, this is funny
