then they would train you from there
basically the same as apprenticeship
XD when one of those positions pays 12 an hour >.>
WELP can't find anyone in the US with 5+ years of programming experience willing to work for $45k.
good luck paying that debt
pretty much promoting that someone who pathologically makes bad descisions will take that job
Predatory employers are the worst form of human.
@Atkins you don't understand, they didn;t NEED to look outside the us until recently.
Bullshit.
japane being woke
They've been doing this shit for decades.
naw, because i looked at jobs BEFORE the recession
XD
Jesus fuck dude.
thats all i got
because i was in high school, around junior year looking for what to do, when that went into full effect.
5+ years was not a requirement then
got lucky with a paid internship that turned into a full time job after a year
I don't care who you are, this is funny
No one being willing to train is the most retarded part of all of this.
when was that @LotheronPrime
"Why should we have to do shit?! Can't people just BE QUALIFIED?! >A<"
today in Tampa, pretty sure
"Just be qualified!! GOD. I DON'T CARE HOW YOU GET IT. YOU WON'T GET IT FROM US. JUST GET IT!!!"
dammit, stop posting when I'm trying to click the play button.. it jumped away twice >.<
also H1B usually requires a sponsor and a job earning like 80k. which there was not many to begin with, and you'd have no problem finding people in the US to fill that. outside of maybe doctors which take like 8+ years to train a new one and if you need one you need one like now.
yes looks like today
not that it matters, your problem seems to be that there IS immigration
FYI, employers over-ask and will still hire you if you don't meet all the reqs provided you're the closest to them
It happens in tech constantly
Nepotism is faaaaantastic.
Oh wait no, we call it networking.
yes, i discovered late to the game that too many employers REALLY don't know how to market they job they want
unless its a very very common job
^^^ @Beemann
tech is the worse
