they dont get em all though
There it is
Some news sites block archiving though that’s why it doesnt get all of then
That's another scummy practice
"People were pointing out how shitty we are, so we made it so they can't do that any more"
I wonder why news orgs would want to block that 🤔
Oh, I'm sure it's some mundane reason that anybody on the street would agree with.
Good tool though, bookmarking for sure.
To protect thier “credibility”
To “change” history
Tim said this before , You google Richard Spencer in the UK , you can’t find anything racist about him or something like that . History gets scrubbed
Serious question, and I get the hyperbole, but at what points is the media the enemy of the people
is it when they doxx people
is it when they stealh edit articles
they are the ministry of truth
is it when they are more op-ed vs actual journalism
is it when they are more activism than journalism
is it when they have backchannels to a single campaign and unilaterally agree to get that campaign elected
is it when they have a backchannel to decide the collective narrative
i'm pretty sure real investigative journalist have always been a rare breed that usually ended up being freelance and just trying to sell their story to papers, rather than work for them.
like the trope of the corrupt new paper is old as dirt
Lotheron, I'd say it's at whatever point they stop reporting on the news and start into activism
I know this has probably been said a million times before, but why is it that when I agree with a liberal on something (doesn't matter what it is, could literally be anything) that's posted on twitter, they immediately turn around and attack me as well?
It is absolutely confounding
purity test
They went straight for the throat with some great ad hominem attacks
it was fantastic
-_-
wait, if that one person's twitter, "your friend helen", is saying you need to include your "alt-right" source for calling Jeong racist, and its her own tweets that are the source, isn't this person calling Jeong alt-right (and therefore racist)?
A saying B required to prove C
A made B
Therefore A proves C
not sure if that's airtight, but yeah. sounds like it.
the flaw is the definition of racism, but before the stealth edits, it was lefty sources calling them racist.
and she apologized for them
which, as people pointed out, why apologize for something she didn't do
i mean, besides being asian and therefore needing to be sorry for oppressing everyone
even whites, ironically.
Apologizing for something is a pretty good admission of guilt in my book
again, not airtight, but pretty telling.
Apologizing for something is a pretty good admission of guilt in my book
Apologizing means you knew it was wrong yet you still did it
