I wish there was like a teamspeak with better ui and chat

Mumble just has too many options if you don't know what you're looking for. Otherwise I don't mind it

But it has a plugin that dumps chat messages to IRC but it doesn't pick up from IRC as well or something

Which sucks because if you could do everything through mumble that would be *perfect*

Part of the problem with Ventrilo and TeamSpeak 2 were that you could only be in one server at a time.

I think theres another program/protocall called Riot that works like that as well

Slack is still hosted first party though

I believe theres an enterprise version that can be hosted internally

Never heard of groupme and don't use telegram, but to my understanding its text only right

I think you can do voice in telegram

the best solution I can see right now is using a combination of teamspeak or mumble and rocket.chat, but when discord is so convenient theres zero chance anyone would make that hop
