I think it is because of their Rhetoric.

The Rhetoric draws them to the party, because it is easy to manipulate a mentally unstable person, thus they easily fall into the Rhetoric and media manipulation.

The people on the far right also fall into the emotionally unstable category.

If eSports leagues are going to be expected to increase their security then it's likely that smaller tournaments like this one in Florida are going to be infeasible. Having a bunch of private security and a metal detector is going to cost too much, not to mention rental and insurance requirements set by the venue.

Big conventions can do it because they have a huge draw and sell thousands of passes, but a small tournament of a one or two hundred people is not enough to spread out the cost.

Personally I don't think one random black swan event merits any change, but most people are very risk averse.
