If your going for a Degree in IT, It doesn't matter what Degree you have, the experience will get you the $$$

A degree in Cyber Security nets you 0 experience in the main core functions in IT, HelpDesk, Systems, and Network.

My work is starting to open up Cyber Security Analyst Positions but because of the lack of specific functions and general work your doing, netpay range starts between 40-60k annual

Depends on Trade

Carpentry, Welding, Plumbing?

is a boiler maker a Plumber?

Welding School here is 6 months for 15k USD

Net Pay ranges from 40 - 100k

Depending on Experience

4 years to weld, there are schools here that get your cert between 6 - 12 months

Trades are a Guaranteed Survival job with how the market is right now. and it's cheap as hell to go to school compared to a 4 yr degree

If you go to work for an Electrician, than it's a 6 yr process, no other trades have that here

But Electricians, owning your own business here can do 80 - 150k ez.

Plumbers are Meh, they've combined them here with Heat and A/C

that's one problem with new gen coming on board. there work effort is 10% Work / 80% Social Media

For IT, the best thing to do is, go Military, Get TS Clearance, Get your IT General Degree, then Come Out, and work Private Sector with Clearance,

That will get you 50k off the bat

I have yet to see a Cyber Security Degree that is highly technical, most of it is policy,

which does nothing for anyone that takes the courses

an IT Degree that Focus's on the Technical side is the best degree, IE: In Depth Programming, Mathematics, Systems or Network Engineering. Very few places have these concepts

You have to Enlist first?

probably a trick then

kick you down to infantry

I got a 90% match on that job

that's not bad pay for what there asking to do, pretty trivial

It's Incident Response, which is identifying, maybe remediating, Monitoring, and then Planning

and your working in the military so it makes everything 10x easier, because everyone obeys your orders.

You could work as a Walmart Door Greater in the U.S and buy a 4 Bedroom House on the Beach Right in Australia right now.

IT Salaries will vary from 30k - 140k right now depending on what your in

Y 🇾 or N 🇳 to Crock Pot Liners. I've used Crock Pot liners to Company Pot Locks in the Past and people freaked out because they thought they were going to get poisoned from Chemicals leaking in their food. It left me to only take Straight Crock to all future PotLucks

nothing like ordering something in the future with a currency called "Coochie"

Atheist's don't know what Atheist believe in anymore, and there is literal branches of Atheism. Most Atheist can;t prove their arguments anymore using Science, because the latest 100 years of Science has changed radically and drastically to point to Intelligent Design.

I change there mind by asking simple questions that they answer

The younger generation more, geared towards the ages of 15-21, right now, when engaged in discussion in belief of a god or not, more recently end in them stomping away in a discussion, rather than engaging. I hope this is not a trend.

Because of the wide variety of beliefs of an Atheist and types of Atheism, I try to figure out what and why they are questioning. I think depending on there answers, one can dig a deeper hole. Not so much changing their mind, but opening up the broader scope of thinking. It's more of getting the wheels to turn.

Some of it stems from a turning point or reason as to why they became an Atheist

Example might be, one person was once Catholic as a child, and they didn't like the church, so they decided to not follow God, so they claimed to be an Atheist, but not so much. they still believe in a "God" but not from a faith base.

Others may actually state they don't believe in God, the Scientific questions and answers may lead around Darwins' Theory of Evolution. More recently (25-40 yrs) scientists have come to adopt that Darwin Theory of Evolution is not practical.

I think you have to ask a lot of questions to get an understanding from where they are coming from. Some more apt to being open, are actually interested in diving into the Historical Context. For Example, asking them to Disprove Jesus actually existed or Disproving the existence of Peter. And this would be targeting from a Context of Christianity.

The government should realistically print me 1 million dollars so it can prove, "money doesn't buy happiness". K thanks,

I had a very aggressive portfolio last year and i lost around 80k in March last year, I held the line and since last year I’m now +130k.

I came very close after losing the money to start selling my body on the corner. I held the line

Would prefer a free market where there is no minimum wage

2021-03-13 16:09:01 UTC [Zeducation #💰|economics]

It would open up markets for labor, probably take unemployment to almost zero, drive competition, wages, and small businesses would thrive.

2021-03-13 16:11:48 UTC [Zeducation #💰|economics]

It's a give and take though, most other countries that do not have a minimum wage, they have very strong labor unions.

2021-03-13 16:15:45 UTC [Zeducation #💰|economics]

Agreed, automation has accelerated in my state where they pushed for 20 minimum wage. Almost every fast food restaurant the past 2.5 years has automated the front line with Kiosks. They have also added 2 and in some cases 3 Drive thru lines. Kiosks replacing 2-4 workers at the front line. Those workers have been eliminated

2021-03-13 16:16:56 UTC [Zeducation #💰|economics]

For Fast food, maybe we will see touch screen menu ordering, payment automation, and then food just dropped to your window.

2021-03-13 16:19:07 UTC [Zeducation #💰|economics]

What's wrong with the concept of Bob, a Franchisee, wanting to own a Small Business, and making a Profit?

2021-03-13 16:24:08 UTC [Zeducation #💰|economics]

historically, automation has replaced humans through out inception. The push by People through Government to force wages is only accelerating the move. Whether or not business owners adapt or workers adapt, will ultimate end in their own demise.

2021-03-13 16:25:15 UTC [Zeducation #💰|economics]

Agreed

2021-03-13 16:27:59 UTC [Zeducation #💰|economics]

I know one of the Franchisee's of a McDonalds nearby, normally they would have 14 people on staff during a shift, with Automation, they are down to 4, with 3 on call in case someone get's sick. All to stay alive due to Wage Hikes,

2021-03-13 16:28:03 UTC [Zeducation #💰|economics]

They would much rather hire people

2021-03-13 17:27:11 UTC [Zeducation #💰|economics]

I disagree, abolishing Min Wage - I wouldn't forsee anyone wanting to work for .01 Cents to 5 Dollars Per hours

2021-03-13 17:28:03 UTC [Zeducation #💰|economics]

Any business that advertises those salaries would probably not see anyone coming in and applying

2021-03-13 17:28:42 UTC [Zeducation #💰|economics]

The local job markets will correct itself and pay based on an individual and business owners negotiation.

2021-03-13 17:29:25 UTC [Zeducation #💰|economics]

Why would I pay someone 15, in Small Shit Hole City in Mississippi, when Cost of Living you can live their at $8 per hour

2021-03-13 17:30:22 UTC [Zeducation #💰|economics]

Forcing businesses in Small Shit Hole City Mississippi would not only kill the economy, population, and local job markets but decimate it completely

2021-03-13 18:19:20 UTC [Zeducation #💰|economics]

I own a small business and currently have 4 employees that make between 10-25k a year. How am I a scumbag? The local government entity where I am at, is increasing Min Wage to 15 dollars an hour July 1st. I am going to lay off 2 people in order to stay a float.

2021-03-13 18:20:09 UTC [Zeducation #💰|economics]

if I kept those people on, I'm out of a Small business. I've estimated if Min increases any higher, i'll be down to 1 employee and will probably consider closing

2021-03-13 18:20:54 UTC [Zeducation #💰|economics]

I think in another year, small businesses are going to go back to hiring illegals and telling Americans to piss off

2021-03-13 18:23:26 UTC [Zeducation #💰|economics]

I worked Manual labor in My teens 15-19 for 5-6 bucks an hour. Now my nieces and nephews in that same age range, can't find a damn job.
