yeah same thing for my university gym. Even the workers do it wrong at the end of the day
i normally run on their own day or after hitting legs
100 pushups in the AM then stretches to help shoulder mobility
SBD sleeves will add weight to your squat because they are made to help increase totals. Get them in a certain size and it can add like 50lbs
I use a pair from elitefts (where i got my lifting belt). They are nice and tight and warm but dont add as much bounce. They are also woven which is nice for the extra flexibility
I did Tate press for tris today after Low bar and close grip bench. The new angle had my tris on fire
Anyone else bench in the squat rack when it gets heavy? Iโve been doing it when the gym isnโt crowded and itโs pretty sweet especially since no spotter

I deadlift conventional and squat high bar in competition but the program has me sumo and low bar so thatโs why

This is comp style but bad angle. Iโm vid one of my heavy sets every session so Iโll get a better angle
Super close grip (inside shoulder width) puts more stress on wrists and shoulders. I take shoulder width and focus on โstackingโ my elbows and forearms with minimal flair plus a more straight bar path

@Tyler0317 I have my legs like that because I find it lets me load my hamstrings the best and also makes it easier to me to breathe into my ribs on the descent
The constant tension I get from that lets me push through my hips for leg drive. Letโs me keep my butt on the bench easier and keep my upper back and lats tight
I see what youโre talking about on bench. My timing from leg drive to press was off a bit for the first two reps. Iโll have to pause my bar warmups to get timing down better
Since Iโm peaking again Iโm reintroducing pauses now because the reps are lower. Iโll have to practice it a bit more in warmups to make sure Iโm ready for maxing

+1 on oly shoes. I use adipowers and squat high bar. They are fantastic and you can get them on sale ~$100 if you search

Nuclear, Iโm kinda stuck between 160-165 and Iโm 5โ7. Just get strong as fuck then go into bodybuilding training and force feeds yourself

Between warmups and going slow for the ankle it took me 30 minutes to get through my deadlifts
Getting that concrete feeling in my lower back never affects my lift just my mindset. But thatโs just my experience
