I've been thinking about a running club. I used to do XC in high school and I've been wanting to get back in shape. However my area is a suburb/town and malt kids move away for college so I'm worried it might just be full of mom's 😅😂 but im sure it doesn't hurt to check it out.

In 2018 I really want to take up running and swimming to supplement my weight training
Back in 9th grade though I was a younger lad, I was in the best shape of my life and could run a mile in 5 minutes. And I would love to get back to that but also have the strength of a Greek god haha
And yeah @Pat-MA I am very slim. I don't have a lot of muscle mass
I can't decide if that's good or bad. I don't like having to choose between speed or strength
@Pat-MA I just want to be in the best physical shape I can be in. I think I rather be lean and mean fast than not be able to touch my shoulders 😂
@Pat-MA I agree. I want to have an atheletic body more than looking like a body builder. And yes definitely I want to train to be that fast again. It's been a few years and few pounds heavier though lol.

Well gents happy to say the race went well. Finished in under 30 minutes, ran with lots of beautiful white families, and got a flyer for a "single and mingle" race in February.
As I'm training for next 5k I'm going to try to finish at 14:00.88

I've gotten answers wrong for doing multiplication first sometimes though

This class is online. The teacher just supervises. I followed PEMDAS as taught but when I did I kept getting answers wrong and when I viewed the solution they were doing division first
The worst part is that it only counts one answer correct. And if you don't get that correct it marks it wrong even if you understand the concept
And you cant practice the same problem twice

A delivery driver makes $52 each day that she works and makes approx. $8 in tips for each delivery. If she wants to make $220 in one day at least how many deliveries does she need to make?

Working on graphing linear equations in two variables (x and y).
And the line I have to graph is 5y=9
I put it in a graphing calculator and came back with a straight line (0,0) which is incorrect as the problem is asking for two coordinates for x and y
So the answer I came back with is 0, 1.8
But the computer program I have to do my homework on requires me to answer the x coordinate and it will not accept 0. Very weird
Ohhh okay. That seemed to have worked. Is this the case whenever there is a straight line?

I just got another answer wrong for writing it in decimal numbers but it was counted as wrong because the answer was in fractions. Did the math calculation, and the fractions converted into the decimal coordinates that I entered.
It did not. It just said "Find the y-intercept and x-intercept of the following linear equation."

the one they flagged wrong was the coordinate points -4.8 and -0.375
they said those were incorrect and that the right answer was -24/5 and -3/8 which are the exact same numbers
Yes I did. I will for sure. If this was on a test and graded in that way I would have gotten the problem wrong

I've got a camera tech question for anyone who's familiar with canon. I'm having a problem with my canon T6i where the ISO will start spazzing out while taking video. I stand in front of a bright softbox light, the camera is set to manual, ISO at 200, aperture at 3.5 (lowest) and on occasion if I move or hold something that is reflective on the light, the ISO will freak out and crank up to 3200. The LCD touch screen looks as if someone is pressing the buttons to raise the ISO but again everything is set to manual on the camera so idk why it would be reacting this way? It's a strange glitch. Does anyone have any suggestions?

I have the dial turned to M for manual, and then switch the camera into video mode.
Autofocus is also off so everything is adjusted manually

For someone trying to put on muscle, is it best to isolate muscle groups and work different ones each day? Like Monday - back and biceps, Tuesday - shoulders and triceps, etc. or a compound workout of bench, deadlift, and squat each session? And should I do low reps with high weight? Or medium reps (8-10) with medium or lighter weight? My daily caloric goal is 2500 but I can't seem to find foods that have high calories and are also full of protein. Usually high calories = carbs and fat. Which I know is good to have some but not too much. I need at least 90g of protein per day.
@StevePines -WA thanks man. Did you mean 5-10lbs or 5-10 reps? My current lifting schedule I'm trying to stick to is 4 days a week, M-TR and then rest F/S/S to let myself recover.
