I like some of his ideas, but he has the presence of a politician and a speaking style that reflects that, which tends to make him sound disingenuous. And yes, I have mixed feelings as well. This Covington thing has been great for us. My wife, who is much less conservative than I am, was appalled and even asked 'Could you imagine if that happened to our kids?' She's 8 months pregnant, so her emotions are all over. When she read about NY approving abortion up to 9 months she started crying reading the article. There's hope yet.

@Hakujin - CA For what it's worth, I think they've used up a lot of their political capital. The people who believe it without questioning are beyond our reach until it gets worse anyways.

Seemingly, it would be representative of how good things are that in a country of 380 million there are so few of these type of events that actually turn out to be real.

Official census says 325 million. I'd guess it's more likely around 350 given the 'undocumented workers' that grace our nation.
