I'm a big fan of natural work arounds for bugging out and extreme survival. While not auto mechanics it falls under mechanical engineering. Just something cool to do if you guys are into off grid type of living. These do have to be rebuilt every three or so months to keep them real hot. If you do one and have issues getting it started, piss on it or use coffee grounds. The nitrates spark up the breakdown really quickly.

Might try nylon material next, but fir regular use PLA+ is good enough

He's the overall CO and will get you in touch with who you need to get in touch with to do interviews and join up.
As for Everett, lemme check and see if we got people up there or who the closest would be. I know we got folks in King county, so you could always drop down and join them if we don't have anyone that far north.
So I was cleaning up my 3D glock print, and the fuckin trigger guard pops off. Thankfully when working with either PLA or PLA+, testers modeling cement is perfect, because it melts that material and welds it together stronger than it originally was. For those of you interested in printing some of your own parts.

Apologies, I'm jumping around doing multiple things at once, yes, Black Horse Militia will take newcomers with very little experience. We have experienced people, myself included that can train you on all sorts of methods that are useful to the minuteman, what we are looking for is a true desire to participate in something bigger than yourself. Not only to learn, but to become a pillar of your community.

For my county, we meet publicly once a month and try to train anywhere from once to twice a month privately and take on other classes as they come up for first aid, survival, prepping, even cooking, just whatever useful comes up we put it out and some of us will go to it
Imagine if you will, society resets, and many people might be left without the usual convenience they are accustomed to, would knowing something like how to cut hair with sheers and a razor be a useful thing? Sure as fuck would, personal hygiene in those situations is far more important than in times like now where we can bathe in sanitizer
So don't overthink simple skills that you bring to the table
Everyone has something, even the urge to learn, it is how we apply that which makes it useful.

Good luck with that, I was a mechanical engineering tech (Machinist Mate) in the Navy. The degree wasn't something I was interested in. Some of the most difficult classes have nothing to do with your level of knowledge or practical ability to build or invent a system for a situation, but have to do with shit like "technical writing".
That being said, engineers are always useful in society.

Hey, sorry I've been MIA a little bit. Had some other shit going on. Gonna do a quick shout out to my group though. Any of you interested in Black Horse Militia which primarily is in the counties around the Puget Sound area, lemme know. I'm down in Kitsap and literally 15 minutes ago my groups started discussing a potential response to Inslee's mando testing and quarantine bullshit. As of right now, once it begins we need to observe the ability of the state to project it's force. Such as ground and aerial transport. If it is safe enough to hit ground transport (basically no drones to spot you) then we are going to do some vehicular sabotage (tires, radiators, brakes, etc) to minimize their ability to project their force. Hopefully if we make enough stink without hurting anyone, the media will bitch about it and that will be the call sign to our brethren to rally up. Probably gonna slap a piece of tape on each vehicle we do in that says "Rhett E Boogie" on it in hope the media is dumb enough to say it on TV. Just keep in mind, if ya'll get in on this, wear gloves, don't leave your prints on anything. Watch out for drones as national guard may be out there (most likely unarmed) and if they are out there local air force might be watching them with drones, so just keep your eyes out, plan ahead of time. Make sure you spend a good time observing and communicating with each other before you come up with a plan of action.

We are currently waiting for a boots on ground scenario to happen. Thus far there is tons of talk and paperwork coming from the governor or whatnot, but until someone actually does a damned thing we are on standby. We do have a response planned, hopefully they are dumb enough to air it publicly if it happens. Since discord is supposedly not clean, all I can say is watch out for Rhett E Boogie.

@Schweet-T Black Horse Militia has a sizeable battalion in Pierce. Everyone comes as they are. Your goals shouldn't be to be better than everyone else, but to be better than you were yesterday. So don't worry about what shape you are in now. If you are interested let me know and I'll send you the links. We are constitutionalists, but that is the only overarching theme to the militia. No politics or social bullshit.
