Hello from the hell hole known as South King County
Puyallup right here
Have you guys grouped up yet? I'm with Black Horse Militia which is in both of those areas.
I'm out of Kitsap though.
Tacoma
Yakima county
I'm not sure who is out in Yakima, but I'll ask and see if we got anyone out there.
Much obliged
If you are on Facebook, check out Washington State Militia facebook page, it's not representative of an actual militia, however, it helps a few of the different groups recruit people in our areas.
The guy to talk to for Black Horse Militia is Rozzville Grace
He's the head hauncho.
@PickleChips , are you grouped up yet?
NE Tacoma/Federal Way
you grouped up yet though?
@IA I haven't grouped up with anyone
Are you on facebook
https://www.facebook.com/RozzvilleGrace
If so, this is the man you wanna talk to, he's in charge of BHM.
I'm technically with West Coast patriots 3% by think they dissolved at this point so probly not.
So you don't do regular training then. Ok, please hit up that link on facebook if you use facebook, if not, I'll try to get him to join here to pull you guys over to our discord and get you to meet in person with our groups and start training if you are interested.
I'm from down in the thurston area
good to finally locate some more washington guys
Another Washingtonian has joined the chat
I kinda know someone around the Everett area, went to meet up before the virus shit got bad. Maybe it might be good to have a few of us group up at once
And I also met another dude just a little more up North
On discord here, just another server
Black Horse Militia has people in Thurston, if I recall he's actually prior Army Airborne as well. If you see above where I posted the facbeook link to Rozzville Grace, he's the man to get in touch with. If you don't facebook, then you'll want to look on Discord for the person Chief Run InTheDark#1556 it's the same guy. He's the overall CO and will get you in touch with who you need to get in touch with to do interviews and join up.
As for Everett, lemme check and see if we got people up there or who the closest would be. I know we got folks in King county, so you could always drop down and join them if we don't have anyone that far north.
Seems we have a person in everett but not a functioning battalion, so I'm looking to see who is the closest representative to you and what their recommendation is for everett folks that want to group up
I shouldn't get anyone really hyped for me, I'm currently not functioning. I only have 9 months training of muay thai and jiu jitsu, I got a very, very late start.
If anything I'll try to operate in the gray, or try to keep our people sheltered or some shit until I get more training in
Still trying to find my uses other than helping to organize people and spread information.
then I should get less hype
I got pretty much nothing to my name except some camping gear and an 1853 enfield bayonet coming in the mail
that, and the only combat I have training in hasn't been used since the mid-late 1800's
10Lives, that's the point of grouping up is to get the training. Plus there is a billion other things a minuteman can do other than hold a rifle.
on the other hand, my one redeeming factor is knowing the location of two 12 pounder cannons
^that's hype
And that is true. Are they accepting people with zero experience for training?
Because I would definitely need to shoot my new glock once I finish it off
I'm just OCD as hell about sanding it
I see, a man who prefers quality
I was recommended to go with a p80, I don't have a Washington ID
At least not yet
I see
My co worker helping me out though said he really recommends them. I do not have much experience with handguns.
At least enough for my own input.
Our great state has decided that I'm too young for a hand gun
I had a friend in high school turn 18, go to the gun store and get denied a handgun, so he said "fuck it" and bought an AK
our great state has also decided that I'm too young for a self loading rifle
So I've decided to get a musket and experiment with 'special' ammunition
On the bright side, I can also use it for civil war reenacting
I haven't seen one of those
If I have, I'd like to see the battle of 1st Minnesota in Gettysburg, just because I'm a Minnesotan and they kicked ass.
I see. there's supposed to be an event out in Cheney on memorial day weekend
It's still up in the air whether it will be open to the public or not
I don't think there'll be any major gatherings for the next 18 months
Just wait for the next PATRIOT act
I feel you
but I'm getting real tired of not working
And I'm getting real tired of all the adds with rich people telling us poors to stay inside and not make money for food and necessities
I'm still working because I'm essential
I'd be making $200 more to stay at home unemployed
Maths
what up. north west washington
Apologies, I'm jumping around doing multiple things at once, yes, Black Horse Militia will take newcomers with very little experience. We have experienced people, myself included that can train you on all sorts of methods that are useful to the minuteman, what we are looking for is a true desire to participate in something bigger than yourself. Not only to learn, but to become a pillar of your community.
what's your values?
as an organization, that is
so our only overarching theme is constitutionalism
beyond that
we don't care
no religion, no social ideologies, no politics are forced on anyone
I like constitutionalism
as individuals we all have our own values, but that which binds us right now is constitutionalism
Our CO is Rozzville Grace, a DJ who used to be big in the rap and hip hop game throughout the pacific northwest and southern BC Canada. He's a good dude. I'm the Council Rep for Kitsap, and each of the counties that have enough people have a Council Representative.
interesting
For my county, we meet publicly once a month and try to train anywhere from once to twice a month privately and take on other classes as they come up for first aid, survival, prepping, even cooking, just whatever useful comes up we put it out and some of us will go to it
Imagine if you will, society resets, and many people might be left without the usual convenience they are accustomed to, would knowing something like how to cut hair with sheers and a razor be a useful thing? Sure as fuck would, personal hygiene in those situations is far more important than in times like now where we can bathe in sanitizer
So don't overthink simple skills that you bring to the table
Everyone has something, even the urge to learn, it is how we apply that which makes it useful.
Sorry if I'm taking a while to respond, I'm trying to balance this with pysics work
no worries, I'm jumping through multiple chats and playing a game at the same time, because Murica
๐
Indeed
Reckon I'll look into the group when I'm not as busy, and by that I mean probably when this semester finishes in a week.
no worries
about a year in on a mechanical engineering degree. I still know more from videos on the internet and building things with my dad.
this degree better have a good return on investment
Good luck with that, I was a mechanical engineering tech (Machinist Mate) in the Navy. The degree wasn't something I was interested in. Some of the most difficult classes have nothing to do with your level of knowledge or practical ability to build or invent a system for a situation, but have to do with shit like "technical writing".
That being said, engineers are always useful in society.
Yeah. I had a class this semester that expected me to write three essays on the work "wow"
gotta love these liberal arts schools
Just wish they'd let me take the engineering stuff and skip the stuff that doesn't even apply to my degree
lol
I should be getting some more engineering focused courses like CAD design and statics next semester
@10Lives here is a good link for you since you don't feel you have much experience, there are tons of small skills you can start learning and doing at home.
https://bushcraftusa.com/forum/threads/bushclass-index.27234/
Thank you for the link, I've been getting a lot of info I'm gonna have to comb through. I've been considering getting some audio books while I'm working as well
I've been thinking of learning dark psychology, more to understand when the state uses it, but it could be beneficial in times of boog
I'm not sure if I would be interested in joining with black horse. While we both believe in freedom I believe the philosophies are different. To put it blunt, I'm a mutualist, agorist, somewhere in that area.
