I'm a supporter of Philip DeFranco and his server seemed skewed in favour of the Alex Jones bans. I found this really troubling, so today I joined here.
One member on his server thought that the 1st amendment shouldn't matter that much if it stops us from banning people like Jones. Most of them we're pretty reasonable to talk to though.
I say Alex is crazy, and I don't watch Info Wars.

Well, if we look at the reasons it was totalitarian it was based on separate groups into hierarchies, and disgust sensitivty towards Jews and other groups.

I don't see him from being much different from the Nazis, and I see them as being right-wing authoritarians.

Authoritarianism can happen anywhere on it, but that doesn't mean authoritarians aren't also *right-wing* authoritarians, or conversely left-wing authoritarians in the case of the Soviets.

No, I think some of the things the Nazi's believed and practiced were far-left, but on the whole their motivations and dispositions seem far-right to me.

The motivations matter. The egalitarianism that motivates the left to the corrupt end is not the same as the ideals of racial supremacy that motivates the right to their corrupt end.
Nazis had the latter motivation, as does Richard Spencer, that is why they're right-wing.

@Fitzydog Had a conversation with a trans person who thought the Lobster thing with Peterson was evidence that he uses pseudoscience. I had to explain that it is an allegory.
I had an extened debate of most things Peterson with them, most of their grievances were just contrived out of prejudice. Few on the left opposing him have read any meaningful literature on the subjects they're passionate about.
The worst offenders are people who claim Peterson is mistaken about postmodernism. Truly a claim only uttered by people who haven't read postmodern literature.
Max Bernier just announced he left Canada's conservative party over identity politics.
He nearly won the last leadership contest, came 2nd iirc. Speaks out against identity politics while current leader Scheer remains weak and bends to Trudeau's libs.
