Do you guys think there could ever be an alliance between Christians of all (or most) denominations?

As a Catholic, it confuses me when Protestants have faiths very similar to Catholicism (for example Lutheranism)

Maybe we can compromise in a way so that the faith is unchanged, but people can interpret God in their own ways so that they stay with their church

I know, but Orthodoxy and a lot of Protestant Churches are similar to Catholicism

Some Churches are though, and only have small differentiations. Now some Churches are very different, which I respect, I'm talking about the similar ones

Modern day Lutheranism is similar, while Calvinism and Evangelicalism are not

Those are just examples

I just want to avoid a conflict where Christians kill other Christians because some greedy businessmen can make a fortune.
