Reading this article, it just sounds like innocent overuse of a vulnerable chat service, that was too convenient for agents to not use. I cant square any of the participation numbers with the polls, which just keep right on tracking, as though numbers like this don't make their models even more useless
I will refuse to believe the results, if they end up showing this increase on both sides of the vote. There is no way. This is a once in history phenomenal spike in participation for a mid-term, and must be driven by extraordinary enthusiasm on one side or the other. There is no way anyone can know anyting about an entirely new behavior pattern like this, except that what models we have will not predict it.

My understanding from early reports in Texas is that is been very strong republican turn out this far. Anecdotally, among my own acquaintances, the probable conservatives I reached out to yesterday , at least half had already voted and the rest intend to Tuesday
yea the enthusiasm on our side is palpable, that's what im hedging with. If I had to make an honest guess, id say the dems might win a seat or two. When they somehow also manage to post all time record turnout, im calling bullshit. If the vote is protected this time around, this is going to be awesome.
