same, fuck their draconic censorship laws
I don't even want to think about how many hours I spent in Doom 1+2, growing up
This game is so gosh darn beautiful.
the fact that this game has a metascore of 66 is probably the most retarded thing I have ever seen
How does this game even exist. So much labor, so much love, so much content produced by four people.
So much ambition packed into one project.
what game are you talking abouuuuuuuuuuuuuuut
Rain World, I guess
hoi4 best
can discord not fuck up my gifs? fuck me
Can discord not be gay?
Exterminatus, soon!
@Reaps
Fells bad
Were they at least heretics?
Best system
Make sure to give it the greatest, strongest starbase
*t h e b e s t*

**T H E B E S T S T A R B A S E S**
Without a doubt the best system. It deserves the most impressive weapons platforms.
No xenos shall be allowed to exist there.
GREAT STARBASE WALL
Determined Exterminators
Slow early game, but I tried extending the sliders and such a bit, to see what happens. Maybe I'll be too strong by the end, or maybe there'll be some nice fights waiting for me down the line.
Nice! I'm looking forward to fighting some space mongols
Or kowtow to them if i find my fleet too weak lmao
I like how they've introduced a way to start on a 25 size gaia planet
but it'll cost 1 irreplaceable government point, and you won't have as high habitability on non gaia worlds
could be interesting for a tall start
CherryH is pretty lit
Although I haven't bought apocalypse yet
this has piqued my interest
30 only?
interesting
30 is about the most I'd spend on a game ;p
but it looks like it checks a lot of boxes for me
yeah, i don't spend more too
"paying full price" and "steam" don't really go together very well
i just thought it would come out later
the reviews are not good
some of them are
some of them are not
yeah
they are neutral
most of them appear to be complaints about bugs and server lag, which is.. pretty much the norm tbh
I did initially see the scores and was like 'aw man this game can't suck, can it?'
it's on alpha
so they might fix the problems
I'd like to see Crytek do something cool
I mean, something beyond glorified tech demos
Far Cry was cool when it came out
And "can it run Crysis?" was a thing for a long time
yeah, me too
specially because they are not going well
ooo
it's #2 on the top sellers though
my mouse pointer is hovering over it
wait
be strong
Crytek was suing Star Citizen because Crytek developers were fleeing to work for Star Citizen.
i thought it was for other reason
Oof.
what i heard, they are suing them because they used the engine for another game that it wasn't in the agreement
On the surface, yeah.
Basically they were offering jobs to the Crytek employees to work on another game. Crytek employees didn't get paid in full or something for a while.
There was quite a bit going on behind the scenes.
where you saw that?
KiA
fuck it, I'll buy it, see how it goes
looks like something that works more with a partner or a squad
>Regardless of that crytek's whole misfortune began and was caused by their odd and sudden rapid expansion a few years ago.
>
>They went from a studio that made Crysis and a pretty good engine to a company with development studios all over the world each working on their own games. God only knows where they got the idea or money for this growth but it was a giant mistake and it's kind of shocking that it didn't put them completely out of business within a couple of years.
>
>From the outside it looks like Crytek wanted to become the next UbiSoft. The problem with that is UbiSoft was much bigger than Crytek when Ubi started it's large growth cycle. Essentially as soon as Ubi got that Tom Clancy license and they used it to make some pretty epic games back in the day they became set.
>
>Crytek doesn't have anything like that. They can't fall back on a license if one of their games is bad. If one of their games is bad it just won't sell.
>
>Such a weird Company who's upper management needs to be purged.
but we'll see. I usually wind up lone wolfing most fuckin' games which is entertaining and an extra challenge in of itself
Crytek sounds like it's fallen into the trap that most companies (and indeed nations) can fall into
expanding too quickly
>Apparently, when CIG decided to break away from CryEngine, that was a breach of Crytek's partnership with CIG.
Even the company that makes (*made) those red cups you see in every frat house party expanded too fast and busted itself
come to think of it
I think youtuber law has covered a lot of this too
yup, four fuckin' videos
lel
`You just tore apart their case without even seeing CIG's response or the GLA.
Bravo.
Can't wait to see your update to this!๏ปฟ`
oof
It's confusing what exactly was going on, but the essence is, Crytek was going bankrupt, so they turned litigious.
welp, let's see if this Hunt game bails them out
never even heard of it
Star Citizen was its lifeline, apparently.
until I saw it pop up on my steam feed
