@Duke of Txtspeak @Dionysus AKA Giegue ah yeah, that's the spice, thanks
Forgot to MAX this one
<:YaaY:512039594108256257>
I love this narrators voice
Now there's 69
of us
the horror
Related video but not from anon https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BHi75L9B1k4
need more /x/ vids or spokky vids in general, need to clean my house
You need more vids?
yeah, I've watched everything keque, kekke, etc. have put out
started watching some Bedtime Stories but they don't really satisfy that itch
I'm a horror addict <:feelsbadman:589929333074821140>
@SheepTeeth have you tried Shadilay? he doesn't post these days but most of his channel is a must watch
Really the underground spoopy shit greentexts
I've seen all of them
Horror Babble is pretty good
I've been trying to find more too. Most of the creepy pasta and scp stuff is pretty meh to cringe.
Got pretty tired of creepy pasta and SCP stuff
Part of the reason why I like /x/ shit is that it's typically more down to earth and less of a shitty narrative and more of a personal recount, even in the meme stories
there's more of a personal touch to it, you know?
yeah, also tends to be less trope driven or constructed
Last 'new' movie I came across was Banshee Chapter
was okay
almost good
interesting concept
excellent soundtrack though
skinwalker stories and shit always get me, they're always the same shit but they get me because I live innawoods but the likelihood of a methhead stalking around your house late at night is more likely than coming across a cursed sonic video game lol
Now that I think about it, what was the pasta that started the whole haunted video game BS
Was it Sonic.exe or was it BEN DROWNED?
cursed object stuff generally doesn't get me, most horror doesn't, life is scary enough. It's the existential shit that tends to really get me, but horror in general doesn't hit that angle very well most of the time, so most of the time what I like tends to be high concept or have sort of a cryptic style which the genre is good for.
Like The Thing. Almost perfect horror movie.
but that kind of thing is rare.
skinwalker gets kind of there
You thinking HP lovecraft?
I do really love HP
that's why I like the horrorbabble channel
lot of that kind of thing there
I like the texts that don't really have a conclusive ending and the OP is like "what the fuck was that"
i've seen some stuff that fits that category, and if I read it I probably wouldn't believe any of it
makes it a bit easier to suspend disbelief for that moment
a lot of it is atmosphere though
it doesn't really "scare" me persay, more so entertains and interests me
music can be really important
honestly I prefer vids with minimal to no music because the music can sometimes be a bad contrast depending on the track
if it's ambient music from quake, that's fucking great
lol
with channels like keque, for instance
I think music is a lot of it
or sound design, in general
I can overlook the music sometimes but sometimes the sound mixing is too much
in a lot of channels, yeah
or when they do stupid things with their voices
like always sounding like they're asking a question
bad audio can ruin everything
or when they accidentally fuck up the recording but don't edit it lmfao
so you get the entire sentence repeated
but in a different tone of voice
makes me fucking double take and think I had a stroke
listening to this atm
@SheepTeeth The exploring series is really good, I usually listen to the SCP stuff
I'm really not into scp stuff
Oof
Then just go with HP Lovecraft story readings I guess
Eh
YES ANOTHER ONE OF MY STORIES WAS FEATURED
The only spooky story I have is that I somehow knew I was going to get stung by a wasp before it happened, twice
Anyone remember a video series about some dude who comes across some file or video on the internet and starts getting harassed by strangers? And it gets crazier and crazier and has something to do with footage that makes anyone who views it violently kill themself.
That's kind of a vague synopsis, but I'll see if I can find it
@Orc Slayer i remember that story
Dont know the name though
I think it was a creepypasta
I remember seeing iy as a kid on that creepypasta channel that had spagetthi as its icon
Pretty sure this is it.
yo
thats a reupload
<:whothatjew:535569679087829005>
stolen from this
@Dionysus AKA Giegue yo keque or kekke fid the last one
