2019-03-20 04:38:48 UTC

i need all food

2019-03-20 04:38:55 UTC

i make food my friends,

2019-03-20 04:39:02 UTC

i dont have much friends ;C

2019-03-20 04:39:44 UTC

@_-(Koichizu)-_ stop trolling and clogging the chats with nonsense

2019-03-20 04:42:26 UTC

its true that i have no friends, i take it offencivley that you say that i speak nonsense.

2019-03-20 17:22:12 UTC

there's a reason why we should make sure GMO labels should exist in the first place

2019-03-20 17:22:53 UTC

although injecting genes of something different might seem harmless, just imagine what would happen if it damaged a gene important for the production of ascorbic acid (vitamin C)

2019-03-20 17:23:14 UTC

think about those unintentional off-target mutations by CRISPR

2019-03-20 17:23:30 UTC

even if they can be reduced, it will have known and unknown consequences

2019-03-20 20:09:27 UTC

O

2019-03-20 20:09:40 UTC

Earth is round boiisss

2019-03-21 01:47:10 UTC

Round...and flat

2019-03-23 02:54:47 UTC
2019-03-23 06:01:35 UTC

Just what i said

2019-04-05 19:09:17 UTC

GMO's arent that bad, if they were, we would immediatly be feeling dodgy after eating veg

2019-04-05 19:11:56 UTC

no they poison us

2019-04-05 19:12:02 UTC

and let demons in our heads

2019-04-05 19:50:33 UTC

HOW

2019-04-05 19:51:14 UTC

Its possible to throw holy water at it, now safe to eat for you now,.

2019-04-05 19:51:54 UTC

This is bout beleived science, not ideolegies yet

2019-04-05 20:49:41 UTC

Even selective breeding to make batter crops count as GMO's technically

2019-04-06 04:15:31 UTC

No they dont

2019-04-06 04:15:50 UTC

Selective breeding is not genetically modified organisms

2019-04-06 07:04:41 UTC

Technically it is, youbchange the future ones to have the genes of qualities you want

2019-04-06 07:05:16 UTC

Its quite just barely on it which makes people like you think it as not.

2019-04-06 07:06:06 UTC

The qualities you want have somthing to do with genes at the most deepest part

2019-04-06 07:07:19 UTC

Lets say plant a is REALLY good, and there are other plants all the way to Z, you'll want to have more A or stuff like that and throw away Z

2019-04-06 07:07:51 UTC

So you get A, AB, and AC to see if you can make a better plant

2019-04-06 07:08:30 UTC

And then you notice that E has a special quality thta is benificial

2019-04-06 07:08:44 UTC

And AC worked very well

2019-04-06 07:09:03 UTC

So you get AC-E

2019-04-06 07:09:13 UTC

Wapam, gmo

2019-04-06 08:37:37 UTC

See ny point?

2019-04-06 12:32:02 UTC

Alright, @fbi has been warned for '**Mass mention**'.

2019-04-06 19:07:35 UTC

@The Chucken Noris#6862 to be fair selective breeding isn't injecting and synthetically changing with chemicals

2019-04-06 19:08:09 UTC

I'm not saying GMOs actually are harmful, just they pose risks selective breeding doesn't

2019-04-06 19:08:34 UTC

That being said selective breeding has it's own dangers

2019-04-06 19:08:45 UTC

That GMOS attempt to solve

2019-04-07 06:37:48 UTC

gmos increase crop yields and survivability and are quite necessary for a soon to be 8 billion humans on the planet

2019-04-13 22:08:34 UTC

Ikr

2019-04-13 23:48:17 UTC

GMOs are harmful to humans and the environment

2019-04-14 00:41:46 UTC

Do you mean genetic modification to ourselves or ingesting genetically modified foods? And even then do you make a distinction from crops and animals?

2019-04-14 01:14:11 UTC

Both and both

2019-04-14 01:21:41 UTC

so you eat gmos and dont care

2019-04-14 08:18:20 UTC

Nah, even if they were bad, probs not as bad as other things, just saying that there are other things that are more dangerous

2019-04-14 13:19:45 UTC

You're not good at this

2019-04-16 18:58:34 UTC
2019-04-19 11:27:38 UTC

genetic modification has both known and unknown risks if you think about it, regardless of what any authorities have to say

2019-04-20 09:56:35 UTC

I can say that that is a rational point to say the least

2019-04-20 09:56:52 UTC

But the good can outweigh the bad

2019-04-20 11:00:09 UTC

I still prefer organic and any other technology that renders GMOs obsolete

2019-04-20 14:24:59 UTC

I would like to go full organic.

2019-04-21 11:57:26 UTC

same here

2019-04-24 11:44:30 UTC

May i ask what is the 'hum' @Lancelot

2019-04-24 15:47:57 UTC

I have no idea what the hum is

2019-04-24 15:48:02 UTC

haven't looked for it

2019-04-24 15:48:02 UTC

lol

2019-04-24 15:55:50 UTC

I'm content with a 40-50 year lifespan

2019-04-24 16:19:31 UTC

@Lancelot yes i saw 'the hum' as part of your roles that's why i asked

2019-04-30 00:40:11 UTC

when do we ride for the ice wall

2019-04-30 00:50:25 UTC

Everyone see this? Eat gmos. Reduce life to 40 years old. This is a great example of a confused person.

You really need to look into this, you are making yourself look ridiculous @Pinnaplia

2019-04-30 15:27:16 UTC

Lol what is there to look into? Oops I was content with a shorter lifespan? Also Citizen Z I can show you satanic if you want, that's the fun but not so fun stuff. Or at least I think it may be satanic honestly idk. @Citizen Z @Credibly Charted

2019-04-30 15:28:15 UTC

<:BigSmiles:556070613224259594> Is that admitting you are a satanist?

2019-04-30 15:29:09 UTC

Nahvthats just admitting I have a broad amount of knowlage. Idk why people worship Satan it seems odd. I'm an Atheist lol.

2019-04-30 15:29:17 UTC

Nah that's*

2019-04-30 15:29:20 UTC

O

2019-04-30 15:30:26 UTC

Citizen Z is just calling me stuff like that cuz he's a little rattled.

2019-04-30 15:39:23 UTC

lol wat

2019-04-30 17:56:53 UTC

mhm

2019-04-30 17:57:00 UTC

i would be content with a lifespan of

400 years

2019-04-30 19:14:45 UTC

Same

2019-04-30 20:33:53 UTC

What GMOs actually are @Pinnaplia

2019-05-01 00:13:17 UTC

Was that supposed to be followed with something?

2019-05-03 08:36:36 UTC

Eating gmos does not modify or change our DNA in any way.

2019-05-03 08:39:44 UTC

DNA manipulation through consuming food is not possible.

2019-05-03 09:07:55 UTC

What if the food contains DNA manipulating substances?

2019-05-03 09:21:33 UTC

It means were gay

2019-05-03 09:21:55 UTC

There are no "DNA manipulating substances"

2019-05-03 09:25:21 UTC

That's exactly what I'd say if I was a government agency manipulating people's DNA with substances.

2019-05-03 09:25:37 UTC

DNA is inserted into an organism

2019-05-03 09:25:47 UTC

Not sprayed onto it

2019-05-03 09:27:05 UTC

So it's impossible to alter DNA?

2019-05-03 09:27:29 UTC

Not once have I stated that

2019-05-03 09:28:30 UTC

You said there are no DNA manipulating substances.

2019-05-03 09:28:37 UTC

Are proteins substances?

2019-05-03 09:29:05 UTC

Are alpha sources substances?

2019-05-03 09:29:11 UTC

DNA is inserted into cells, which then replicate

2019-05-03 09:29:29 UTC

Are proteins substances?

2019-05-03 09:29:33 UTC

Giving a plant proteins does not alter DNA

2019-05-03 09:29:54 UTC

Uhhh

2019-05-03 09:30:39 UTC

By substances do you mean just spraying a plant with a liquid

2019-05-03 09:30:53 UTC

Did I say that?

2019-05-03 09:31:03 UTC

You did not specify

2019-05-03 09:31:23 UTC

So why do you make that assumption?

2019-05-03 09:31:56 UTC

Not sure

2019-05-03 09:32:00 UTC

The globe earther that doesn't believe in science ๐Ÿ˜‚

2019-05-03 09:32:33 UTC

DNA is inserted into cells, which then repicate

2019-05-03 09:33:00 UTC

Eating a plant containing those cells does not alter human DNA

2019-05-03 09:33:03 UTC

Cas 9 is an RNA manipulating protein.

2019-05-03 09:33:28 UTC

Cas 9 is not eaten

2019-05-03 09:33:48 UTC

No, but nanobots are

2019-05-03 09:33:52 UTC

All the time

2019-05-03 09:34:51 UTC

DNA altering proteins are injected directly into human cells to alter DNA

2019-05-03 09:34:57 UTC

Not eaten

2019-05-03 09:35:00 UTC

Jesus

2019-05-03 09:35:05 UTC
2019-05-03 09:35:35 UTC

Lmao

2019-05-03 09:36:33 UTC
2019-05-03 09:37:04 UTC

Why do you think people have so many health issues this decade?

2019-05-03 09:37:25 UTC

Improper diet, maybe?

2019-05-03 09:37:58 UTC

Eating 100 cheeseburgers a month does not guarantee great health

2019-05-03 09:38:17 UTC

Overworked+bad diet=multiple health issues

2019-05-03 09:38:28 UTC

^

2019-05-03 09:38:32 UTC

and that's like the two best describers of working adults in this decade

2019-05-03 09:38:53 UTC

Exactly

Trusting big corps like Mc Donald's in the first place ๐Ÿ˜‚

2019-05-03 09:39:40 UTC

I don't eat at McDonald's because i know the standards they have for the meat they use

2019-05-03 09:39:42 UTC

Never eat that shit, it contains all sorts of government funded experimental research

2019-05-03 09:40:34 UTC

what? Next are we going to say don't drink tap water because of governent tampering?

2019-05-03 09:40:44 UTC

Don't wash your hands

2019-05-03 09:40:53 UTC

my job requires me to

2019-05-03 09:40:59 UTC

so you know, I don't taint the water I treat

2019-05-03 09:41:17 UTC

But that water is government water dont wash your hands!

2019-05-03 09:41:27 UTC

b-but i treated it myself

2019-05-03 09:41:31 UTC

Bruh, how is the government *NOT* tampering with tap water.

2019-05-03 09:41:47 UTC

Because I can tell you the three main chemicals used in Water Treatment

2019-05-03 09:42:09 UTC

and all of them are 100% soluable and only clump up toxins and balance the PH level

2019-05-03 09:46:36 UTC

This is getting kinda off topic

2019-05-07 18:00:56 UTC

GMOs are harmless

2019-05-09 06:57:00 UTC

Let me ask ya'll first, what is a gmo

2019-05-09 06:58:34 UTC

Because no plant we modifyed caused a terminator style appocolypsse, but seriously, gmos intended to affect how well the plant survives, and possibly the quality of food in a beneficial way

2019-05-10 18:48:32 UTC

Do you think GMO's end at plants? Genetically modified animals down to natural traits and behaviors

2019-05-10 21:25:34 UTC

They engineer animals also

2019-05-12 08:22:00 UTC

I know gmos dont end at plants but they MOSTLY affect plants

2019-05-12 12:50:58 UTC

GMO plants need crap loads of water ,, they don't do well , the farmer assumes all liability ,, the round up has skull & cross bones all over the packages , but there safe , so where re the studies , past 3 months ,, is was it 3 weeks . // u ppl hav no clue just repeat the talking points of liberals that are empty vessels // SAD days , on the SAD die-t

2019-05-17 23:21:40 UTC

I just heard a round up company in Europe got sewed a massive amount of money for their products causing cancer. Im gonna try to find a link for anyone interested

2019-05-17 23:52:01 UTC

Interested

2019-05-18 01:54:25 UTC

had trouble finding the European case but easily found some others

2019-05-18 01:54:57 UTC

I don't know how to make like the web link things so ill just post the urls

2019-05-18 01:55:29 UTC

One from Canada

2019-05-18 01:56:48 UTC

some in californa with that article too

2019-05-18 02:01:29 UTC

the IARC (the International Agency for Research on Cancer) is saying its most likely carcinogenic

2019-05-18 02:04:04 UTC

Apparently the big one Bayer is even in my state, ouch

2019-05-18 02:45:45 UTC

Even CNN is taking the side against round up

2019-05-18 02:51:21 UTC

more successful lawsuits. this time someone accidently sprayed themselves with it and got sick. Then a scientific experiment was performed and it showed that it may also cause another diesease, https://www.businessinsider.com/monsanto-roundup-liver-disease-cancer-2019-5 . man rip round up

2019-05-18 02:51:45 UTC

I don't think round up is going to be around in 5 years

2019-05-18 03:11:14 UTC

oh apparently Bayer is a worldwide company thats actually german. So I guess the lawsuits are against european companies but from other places in the world. Yeah I don't think Roundup is going to be around much longer unless Bayer can handle all of multi billion dollar lawsuits coming out at them. Although this one is a little more supportive of Roundup they still go against it too https://metro.co.uk/2019/05/15/round-weedkiller-linked-cancer-us-still-sale-uk-9554688/ I think this is enough source data about the topic so I'm going to stop posting

2019-05-18 10:21:49 UTC

the alternative media is more likely to have suspicion on subjects

2019-05-18 10:22:58 UTC

Russia has at least made a good regulation on GMOs, like Japan did

2019-05-18 10:23:27 UTC

maybe we can introduce environmental tariffs

2019-05-18 18:38:04 UTC

I mean gmos can be good but unfortunately most of them are modified to resist pesticides which encourages use pesticides which is bad. But like some of them are good. Diabetics who couldn't produce insulin used to have to take insulin from animals but when scientists used recombinant technology to place an insulin producing gene into ecoli they could produce insulin much more cheaply and efficiently. The problem is is that farming companies place the toxin resistant and pesiticide resistant genes into crops which encourages use of these which are both bad for the environment but more importantly are bad for human beings

2019-05-24 19:16:42 UTC

on this, I would still prefer selective breeding over transgenics. As transgenics is riskier than selective breeding

2019-05-24 23:35:41 UTC

I mean yes but we cant always get a trait we want through selective breeding whereas if we use transgenic we can choose any trait. But yes. Its not clear when that trait goes into the organism if when consumed its bad for thr consumer.

2019-05-25 20:23:30 UTC

then there's also genetic modification where crops create their own pesticides, not to mention that. As there has been research showing what long term effects will be on animals. Although animals are not the same as humans, the used animals in the studies are mammals. Look for anything familiar to the situation we live in right now, with multiple medical crises in cases of chronic illness.

2019-05-25 20:23:37 UTC

think about it, manmade toxic food

2019-05-25 22:02:46 UTC

Yep welcome to business operated genetic engineering

2019-05-26 10:45:37 UTC

it's preferable to use multiculture in agriculture, since that's more sustainable than monoculture

2019-05-28 00:56:30 UTC

Wtf

2019-06-03 18:59:53 UTC

THC is the main psychoactive component in marijuana; itโ€™s what causes the user to feel high, and often increases appetite. If youโ€™re like me, you might be asking the obvious question: If THC has medicinal benefits, why do we need to make a synthetic version of it in order to to treat people? And the answer, in my opinion, is clear: Because you canโ€™t patent cannabis and capitalize on it.

2019-06-03 19:00:16 UTC

all about the money!!! always is !!!!!!!!!!

2019-06-09 03:52:34 UTC

I am pro gmos. Anyone want to debate?

2019-06-09 13:42:55 UTC

What do you think about eating gmo salmon meat that has been dyed red using red dye pellets

2019-06-11 23:59:56 UTC

Yeah im against that. They should get rid of this

2019-06-12 00:04:24 UTC

Also gmos arent always bad. Its just usually the farmers (and the fish companies) creating certain gmos that encourage bad policies. Like pesticide resistant crops allowing them to use more pesticide. Not all of these mutations are bad that farmers use, but some of them definetly are very bad

2019-06-13 00:47:42 UTC

Why mutate anything. You like witchcraft?

2019-06-13 04:34:31 UTC

more proof he is one of them and not out for your best interest at all

2019-06-13 14:21:25 UTC

Mutating things is fine (before life of course, not during) as long as its to be beneficial for society and we aren't doing stupid stuff like releasing genetically modified fish into the ecosystem.

Also welcome to biology today. The government cant control bioethics effectively. It might become a huge problem very soon

proof is somthing universal

2019-06-18 05:40:49 UTC

when you have proof that isnt molded or fabricated it becomes fact so if you want to push ideals please don't be far fetched give somthing for you to stand on and build on to *argue* for

Toxic potatoes

2019-07-04 00:54:43 UTC

Who would of thought

2019-07-04 02:00:36 UTC

Bioremediation at its worst. Also at its best if we used it for untoxicating land after hurricanes. Too bad farming companies find a way to make just about anything more toxic

The idea of GMOโ€™s is smart but itโ€™s manipulation of nature

2019-07-22 16:44:22 UTC

Things are created as they are and I personally think that the modification of these are not needed. Even to increase things like yield

2019-07-22 20:26:06 UTC

Good luck finding something thats not genetically modified somehow. Basically everything on a farm has been modified by artificial selection and/or genetic modification throughout history.

2019-07-23 01:37:16 UTC

For reference, I'm someone who works with tons of farmers due to business, and one thing that they mention is that GMO crops just grow so well due to them not having any limiting factors, but some of them state that they'd stop using them if they could make their contracts meet, as they often observe that something about the plants is foreign to certain insects, and in some cases, their digestive system stops working, and they just die near the crops.

2019-07-23 01:38:14 UTC

Now keep in mind, these are uncommon cases in the selection of small insects, so harm to us is a different factor altogether, especially since we as humans have strong livers

2019-07-23 01:39:45 UTC

But one thing you need to distinguish is artificial selection and GMO. Artificial selection is simply selecting a gene that was already in the gene pool and expressed. With Monsanto, the genes are artificially manipulated in order to make them resistant to Roundup's glyphosate, and was not an artificial selection, but an artificial insertion concerning the genetic code

2019-07-24 13:48:41 UTC

@GreenPixel try your link again lol

2019-07-24 13:49:21 UTC

But we're talking about agricultural genetic modification

2019-08-03 19:45:13 UTC

Gmos feed a large amount.of people and in fairness glyphosphate is better than other herbicides

2019-08-03 19:45:36 UTC

Glyphosphate is still bad though

2019-08-03 22:17:58 UTC

Gmos dont feed that many ppl

2019-08-03 22:18:28 UTC

There is over 500 million farmers.
Only 18 million grow gmo

2019-08-03 22:18:40 UTC

I have a ton of good facts on this stuff

2019-08-03 22:19:09 UTC

Gmo are bad for the soil
