How can you just blindly accept what someone says?

2019-11-05 02:03:08 UTC

I have never experienced any of the stuff that they say occurs. This includes but is not limited to: Unobstructed curvature, spinning at over 1000mph, watching ships and buildings sink below the horizon (just an optical illusion or a result of perspective, not a result of curvature).

2019-11-05 02:03:38 UTC

I also doubt the ISS is in outer-space.

Polaris is at the center of the flat earth correct?

2019-11-05 04:15:30 UTC

Im not a flat earther but im gonna say yes

2019-11-05 04:15:44 UTC

so where does magnetic north sit

2019-11-05 04:16:05 UTC

in relation to Polaris

2019-11-05 04:16:49 UTC

is polaris above the arctic ?

2019-11-05 04:18:20 UTC

yes

But when the apollo missions happened, those were 180 pound suits

2019-11-05 13:27:42 UTC

30 pound suit under moons gravity

2019-11-05 13:28:03 UTC

So 60 pounds including the person inside

2019-11-05 13:33:23 UTC

What is gravity?

2019-11-05 14:01:13 UTC

@floridaswamptrash the ground has a net positive charge. Applying a negative charge into the balloons increases attraction towards the ground.

2019-11-05 14:02:27 UTC

Whatโ€™s the point of the vid? It doesnโ€™t actually address an apparent downward force

2019-11-05 14:03:16 UTC

Aight

2019-11-05 14:40:58 UTC

Downward force? Where?

2019-11-05 14:41:26 UTC

Not seeing your apparent downward force.

2019-11-05 15:14:27 UTC

Gravity?

2019-11-05 15:17:49 UTC

Yeah bitches whatโ€™s this gravity thing we all are being laid down to the earth from basic stuff. Aka some nice semen

2019-11-05 15:18:04 UTC

What's the cause of gravity? @Aba๐Ÿฅ€ @Orlando

2019-11-05 15:18:17 UTC

Whatโ€™s gravity?

2019-11-05 15:18:24 UTC

I'm asking you that

2019-11-05 15:18:30 UTC

Everything has a gravitational pull

2019-11-05 15:18:37 UTC

A non-zero value of the stress-energy momentum tensor.

2019-11-05 15:18:40 UTC

The bigger it is the more it attracts

2019-11-05 15:19:01 UTC

Well we are being pulled in this flat surface from semen so idk what gravity is

2019-11-05 15:19:22 UTC

Our ancestors had been floating around and found this flat surface

2019-11-05 15:19:37 UTC

So they used their 15 foot cocks to dispense semen

2019-11-05 15:19:47 UTC

And they covered the earth using that semen

@Aba๐Ÿฅ€ What is this gravitational pull? I know the claims made already

2019-11-05 15:20:56 UTC

We all have a gravitational, cool story, but why?

2019-11-05 15:21:09 UTC

Because we all have mass

2019-11-05 15:21:12 UTC

What's causing it?

2019-11-05 15:21:16 UTC

No no

2019-11-05 15:21:16 UTC

Mass

2019-11-05 15:21:19 UTC

Yes

2019-11-05 15:21:20 UTC

That's not it lol

2019-11-05 15:21:29 UTC

Have you not been to school?

2019-11-05 15:21:38 UTC

The larger the mass the greater the pull

2019-11-05 15:22:01 UTC

Saturns mass is less the jupiters and so it has less of a pull

2019-11-05 15:22:01 UTC

Mass is the attraction of the gravitational pull

2019-11-05 15:22:07 UTC

Gravity doesn't exist because of mass

2019-11-05 15:22:14 UTC

Mass exists because of gravity (supposedly)

2019-11-05 15:22:15 UTC

Try again

2019-11-05 15:22:19 UTC

What causes gravity?

2019-11-05 15:24:31 UTC

It's not technically a pull. In GR, It's the curvature of spacetime around mass.

2019-11-05 15:24:32 UTC

Are you ok?

2019-11-05 15:25:21 UTC

An object's geodesic is affected by curved space.

2019-11-05 15:25:39 UTC

โ€œgravity not as a force, but as a consequence of the curvature of spacetime caused by the uneven distribution of mass.โ€

2019-11-05 15:25:46 UTC

Gravity is caused by mass

2019-11-05 15:26:09 UTC

yarp

2019-11-05 15:26:31 UTC

Mf said gravity causes mass

<:GWlulurdWaitWhat:402868030918492160>

2019-11-05 15:26:52 UTC

I'm not sure what that means

2019-11-05 15:27:14 UTC

Orange said that gravity causes mass

2019-11-05 15:27:20 UTC

Mf means mother f****

2019-11-05 15:27:39 UTC

no, I got that, I'm not sure what "gravity causes mass" means haha

2019-11-05 15:27:59 UTC

Idk either

bruh im not even a strong fighter in the shape debate and know that gravity surely does not cause mass, real or not

2019-11-05 15:28:49 UTC

Yeah i think everyone knows that its not that way, i really dont know what the argument was

2019-11-05 15:31:01 UTC

Aight I misspoke

2019-11-05 15:31:10 UTC

I was playing a game so was really paying attention

2019-11-05 15:33:05 UTC

@Aba๐Ÿฅ€ Gravity doesn't have an actual cause, it's an observed phenomena that the globe earth model uses to clear up a lot of things they can't explain

2019-11-05 15:33:38 UTC

Thatโ€™s linked to things with mass

2019-11-05 15:34:01 UTC

You ever wondered why sand sticks to you even when youre dry?

2019-11-05 15:34:59 UTC

I honestly dont know about that part but in theory if something is small enough they could orbit us

2019-11-05 15:35:35 UTC

Dude

2019-11-05 15:36:14 UTC

Gravity is an observed phenomenon that is observed to be linked to something with mass

2019-11-05 15:36:23 UTC

Therefore gravity is caused by mass

2019-11-05 15:36:33 UTC

That isn't how it works

2019-11-05 15:36:41 UTC

How does it work then?

2019-11-05 15:37:01 UTC

You'll never find anyone actually arguing gravity to say that mass is the whole reason that gravity exists

2019-11-05 15:37:05 UTC

Besides you of course

2019-11-05 15:37:47 UTC

You mean the literal reason why researchers believe gravity is caused isnt why people argue about the existence of gravity?

2019-11-05 15:38:31 UTC

You know what

2019-11-05 15:38:34 UTC

Give me a second

2019-11-05 15:39:17 UTC

โ€œWith his theory of relativity, Albert Einstein explained how gravity is more than just a force: it is a curvature in the space-time continuum. That sounds like something straight out of science fiction, but simply put, the mass of an object causes the space around it to essentially bend and curve. This is often portrayed as a heavy ball sitting on a rubber sheet, and other smaller balls fall in towards the heavier object because the rubber sheet is warped from the heavy ballโ€™s weight.โ€

2019-11-05 15:39:29 UTC
2019-11-05 15:41:55 UTC

I'm back

2019-11-05 15:42:12 UTC

Anyways, I know all of that already

2019-11-05 15:42:26 UTC

Then you admit im right?

2019-11-05 15:42:32 UTC

Nowhere near

2019-11-05 15:43:01 UTC

Why are you denying something that has been observed so many times and studied for years

2019-11-05 15:43:21 UTC

Ok dude

2019-11-05 15:43:42 UTC

haha Aba, you're just *defining* gravity.

2019-11-05 15:43:43 UTC

Find me an experiment that shows gravity curves bends the space around it

2019-11-05 15:43:58 UTC

You can define gravity all day but you aren't proving it's existence

2019-11-05 15:44:26 UTC

Gravity states a b and c but can it actually stand up to what it claims?

2019-11-05 15:44:27 UTC

There's no hard proof for gravity specifically. There's great evidence for General Relativity in general, though.

2019-11-05 15:44:34 UTC

A bullet fired at the right angle will get pulled down with the curve of gravity effectively curving it around the earth if it has enough force

2019-11-05 15:44:37 UTC

lol

2019-11-05 15:44:57 UTC

Bro

2019-11-05 15:45:02 UTC

What are you saying?

2019-11-05 15:45:07 UTC

Idk

2019-11-05 15:45:12 UTC

ikr that sounds ridiculous

2019-11-05 15:45:18 UTC

That doesn't make any sense

2019-11-05 15:45:29 UTC

What causes things to go down then when we throw them up?

2019-11-05 15:45:55 UTC

There could be possible explanations that don't have to rely on gravity

2019-11-05 15:46:13 UTC

None are really as consistent as gravity, however.

2019-11-05 15:46:14 UTC

2019-11-05 15:46:24 UTC

Like other flat earthers do bring up relative density

2019-11-05 15:46:54 UTC

What causes things to fall

2019-11-05 15:46:59 UTC

Density is not really a force. Any type of relative density is also meaningless without a seperate force acting on them.

2019-11-05 15:47:13 UTC

Magnetic balls don't prove nothing @Orestis

2019-11-05 15:47:16 UTC

Why cant gravity exist? It doesnโ€™t deny the flat earth theory

2019-11-05 15:47:36 UTC

It doesn't line up is why we don't believe it

2019-11-05 15:47:44 UTC

Aba, gravity as we know it would render the flat earth impossible.

2019-11-05 15:47:47 UTC

Gravity is the force that a dense object makes

2019-11-05 15:47:54 UTC

Gravity is a lot more than that

2019-11-05 15:48:06 UTC

It isn't only on Earth

2019-11-05 15:48:07 UTC

It essentially is mass attracting mass.

2019-11-05 15:48:15 UTC

It's claimed to be anywhere and everywhere more or less

2019-11-05 15:48:29 UTC

I think im thinking of cube earth nvm

2019-11-05 15:48:35 UTC

If you take something the size of the earth that was flat, under the effects of gravity, it would collapse into a ball.

2019-11-05 15:48:42 UTC

๐Ÿ˜‚

2019-11-05 15:48:46 UTC

Oh yeah sure it would

2019-11-05 15:48:54 UTC

2019-11-05 15:49:04 UTC

Gravity debate! Let's jump over to <#538929818834698260> where we can watch all the *action*

2019-11-05 15:49:10 UTC

lol

2019-11-05 15:49:21 UTC

Think of the center of mass pulling all parts of the object toward it.

2019-11-05 15:49:38 UTC

Magnetic? Ha!

2019-11-05 15:49:45 UTC

The most stable structure would be a sphere.

2019-11-05 17:05:36 UTC

you mean the model that has us doing a 180 every 6 months (half complete orbit around the sun) in terms of our night sky view, yet we see the same stars throughout the year?

2019-11-05 17:06:42 UTC

the supposed movement through space is a lot less believable than globe earth tbh

2019-11-05 17:11:36 UTC

dang. i didnt know this was a common question. i thought i was pioneering. lol

2019-11-05 17:20:57 UTC

I don't get the question. The earth's orbit is elliptical, there's no change of direction. It's like asking why the clouds don't change position when you look up on a merry-go-round.

2019-11-05 17:31:36 UTC

The night sky is always the opposite side from the sun. This, in 6 months, we should be seeing the opposite direction, this stars would not be visible on a spheroid also Earth.

2019-11-05 17:32:36 UTC

The biggest caveat, however, is that we do see different stars, and the overwhelming distance and varying angles overlap so that some stars can still be seen throughout.

2019-11-05 17:34:28 UTC

So basically, the meme is a load of crap.

2019-11-05 17:42:08 UTC

You can still see the star..

2019-11-05 17:42:28 UTC

Itโ€™ll just be around at different times in the day

2019-11-05 18:45:37 UTC

seeing some different stars is not the equivalent of consistently observing the same stars throughout the year when the night sky is supposedly aimed at a different direction. "overwhelming distance" is irrelevant

2019-11-05 18:48:41 UTC

"It's like asking why the clouds don't change position when you look up on a merry-go-round" a more accurate analogy would be constantly seeing the same guy standing outside the merry-go-round the whole time you are on it. it wouldn't make sense. maybe there is actually no spinning to begin with

2019-11-05 18:55:03 UTC

Make a nether portal, youโ€™ll travel around the earth quicker

Did another hike today btw, no sign of curvature and the horizon is *always* at eye level.

2019-11-05 22:39:02 UTC

Something seemingly impossible on a globe.

2019-11-05 22:42:04 UTC

It's the same when you are at the beach or atop a mountain. Doesn't even make sense because if the Earth was curved it'd be lower than eye level.

2019-11-05 23:09:17 UTC

I do t think a single laser test has every actually been done correctly to prove flat earth

2019-11-05 23:09:50 UTC

do you have any evidence to support that assertion?

2019-11-05 23:10:29 UTC

Well if the methods used by FE core or John D show anything

2019-11-05 23:10:38 UTC

Itโ€™s that they have no clue what they are doing

2019-11-05 23:10:49 UTC

Or they are being purposefully manipulative

2019-11-05 23:11:06 UTC

why do you think that?

2019-11-05 23:11:10 UTC

Oof I remember talking about FECORE and it was always ugly

2019-11-05 23:11:17 UTC

Well for one

2019-11-05 23:11:42 UTC

FECORE in specific used water level to determine their laser was level, which presupposes Earth as flat

2019-11-05 23:11:46 UTC

FE core used a laser that had a divergence rate that was greater than the curvature drop rate of the earth

2019-11-05 23:11:48 UTC

btw you havent answered my question

2019-11-05 23:12:10 UTC

But falsely reported its divergence rate

2019-11-05 23:12:50 UTC

have you considered doing the laser test correctly and posting it here to show the differences?

2019-11-05 23:12:54 UTC

Even though what the producer of the model they used as well as the person that used the same mode a year prior on the same lake

2019-11-05 23:13:28 UTC

John D supposedly used a cullimator on his lasers

2019-11-05 23:13:36 UTC

It the copper pipes he used

2019-11-05 23:14:14 UTC

so youre ignoring my question?

2019-11-05 23:14:22 UTC

1st one

2019-11-05 23:14:36 UTC

Were too wide to have any effect

2019-11-05 23:14:45 UTC

So you still get that high divergence rate

2019-11-05 23:14:56 UTC

Of which were no where in his presented calculations

2019-11-05 23:15:03 UTC

Iโ€™m so confused, are you trying to answer a question?

2019-11-05 23:15:22 UTC

i asked if he had evidence to back up his assertion

2019-11-05 23:16:12 UTC

He brought up beam divergence which is a significant problem

2019-11-05 23:16:20 UTC

I provided you evidence

2019-11-05 23:16:32 UTC

That lies in the reports they themselves presented

2019-11-05 23:16:46 UTC

you were talking about things, but you didnt actually provide evidence

2019-11-05 23:17:08 UTC

Yeah I gotta admit, you still have burden of proof, Chief

2019-11-05 23:17:09 UTC

what if you did the laser test correctly and posted the video?

2019-11-05 23:17:16 UTC

Do I have to read you FE cores report

2019-11-05 23:17:18 UTC

For you

2019-11-05 23:17:28 UTC

Or John Ds report

2019-11-05 23:17:36 UTC

That he used a bubble level on

2019-11-05 23:17:41 UTC

To level the laser

2019-11-05 23:17:45 UTC

Which is laughable

2019-11-05 23:18:10 UTC

When you are trying to prove the non-existence of laser refraction

2019-11-05 23:18:17 UTC

In the math he presented

2019-11-05 23:18:46 UTC

Or even more laughable

2019-11-05 23:19:03 UTC

As to how FE Core balanced the laser by pointing it at the horizon

2019-11-05 23:19:15 UTC

Which means it would be slightly bent down

2019-11-05 23:19:53 UTC

As well as they broke the collimator prior to testing

2019-11-05 23:20:37 UTC

Nor did they bring the target grid to their target sites

2019-11-05 23:20:48 UTC

Or get any pictures of the laser hitting the target

2019-11-05 23:21:04 UTC

All verified by the president of the FE Core himself

2019-11-05 23:21:34 UTC

@Silly Rabbit, Trix Are For Kids I can go on all day about the flaws in their experiments

2019-11-05 23:21:48 UTC

Or the willful deception

2019-11-05 23:21:54 UTC

Whichever one you prefer

2019-11-05 23:22:06 UTC

Considering these people are getting thousands in donations

2019-11-05 23:22:21 UTC

Yet not providing any tangible results from their experiments

2019-11-05 23:22:40 UTC

Or putting in even a sliver of an attempt to do it properly

2019-11-05 23:23:03 UTC

id love to see your video of your laser test done right

2019-11-05 23:23:21 UTC

Iโ€™m not going to do a laser test

2019-11-05 23:23:27 UTC

ok then

2019-11-05 23:23:28 UTC

Because a laser test wonโ€™t prove anything

2019-11-05 23:23:35 UTC

Because refraction exists

2019-11-05 23:23:41 UTC

And divergence exists

2019-11-05 23:23:45 UTC

then youre wasting my time with this arent you

2019-11-05 23:24:11 UTC

if thats the case then it doesnt matter if they got it wrong

2019-11-05 23:24:37 UTC

In deed

2019-11-05 23:24:45 UTC

They are wasting their time

2019-11-05 23:24:50 UTC

As well as donator money

2019-11-05 23:24:56 UTC

And they know it

2019-11-05 23:25:13 UTC

If you can either control or account for refraction then you can do it right

2019-11-05 23:26:05 UTC

Well considering they used the wrong formula for refraction
